If unit's HP ≥ 25% at start of combat, after combat, if unit attacked, inflicts 【Panic】 on target and foes within 2 spaces of target.

Boosts damage by 60% of foe's Atk when Special triggers. Neutralizes effects that inflict "Special cooldown charge -X" on unit during combat. If unit initiates combat, unit's Special triggered, and unit survives, grants one of the following two effects after combat (once per turn): if there is only one ally with the highest HP among allies within 2 spaces of unit who have already acted, grants another action to that ally (allies with Sing or Dance can be granted this effect as well), and also, if that ally's or their Pair Up cohort's Range = 2, inflicts "restricts movement to 1 space" on that ally or that Pair Up cohort through their next action; otherwise, grants 【Time's Gate】 to unit.

At start of combat, if foe's HP=100% or if【Penalty】is active on foe, grants Atk/Spd+7 to unit during combat. At start of combat, if foe's HP=100% and【Penalty】is active on foe, grants an additional Atk/Spd+2 to unit during combat.

When using an Ascendant Floret, we recommend getting the next superboon if it fits the hero. If not, consider what stat your hero needs most.

+Spd / -Def

The best IVs for Kvasir are +Spd and -Def. Boosting Spd improves Kvasir's already high Spd from base 47 to base 51, increases the Spd/Res penalties applied to her foe and improves her ability to create follow-up attacks with the inherent Null Follow-Up effect of Incipit Kvasir.

Kvasir's Def is below average and is a safe bane to take as decreasing it won't affect any of her matchups.

+Spd for a +10 Merge

We recommend +Spd when merging Kvasir up to +10 for similar reasons above. Spd is her most important stat and should be boosted as much as possible.

How to Use, Explanation

Kvasir's base kit is already good to go for her to excel as an offensive unit. An Atk/Spd Sacred Seal is best to maximize her offenses; we went with Atk/Spd Catch 3 as it works on both phases and is easy to activate.

Kvasir is a ranged magic attacker (range = 2). Therefore, when not accounting for the Weapon Triangle, the amount of damage she deals will be equivalent to her Atk minus the foe's Res stat.

Incipit Kvasir has multiple offensive effects and grants damage reduction

Kvasir Attack Fire Emblem Heroes FEH

Kvasir's exclusive weapon Incipit Kvasir grants Atk/Spd/Def/Res+5, a Null Follow-Up effect, and Special cooldown charges per attack to Kvasir during combat, while also inflicting Spd/Res penalties equal to 15% of Kvasir's Spd to her foe during combat.

If combat is the first combat initiated by Kvasir or first combat initiated by her foe that turn, Incipit Kvasir grants 70% damage reduction on foe's first attack to Kvasir during combat. 70% is significant and ensures Kvasir does not get bursted down by her foe easily.

After combat, Incipit Kvasir inflicts 【Panic】 onto Kvasir's foe and all nearby foes within 2 spaces after combat, softening them up for her allies to clean up afterwards.

Light is Time grants either an extra action to an ally or warping to all allies

Kvasir's exclusive Special Light is Time neutralizes effects that slow down Kvasir's Special cooldown charges during combat and boosts her damage by 60% of her foe's Atk during combat.

After combat, if Light is Time triggered and Kvasir survives combat, one of two things will trigger:

  • If there is only one ally with the highest HP among allies within 2 spaces of Kvasir that have already acted during that turn, grants another action to that ally.
  • If the above condition isn't met, grants 【Time's Gate】 to Kvasir after combat.

【Time's Gate】 is a bonus status effect that allows allies within 4 spaces of the affected unit (Kvasir in this case) to warp to a space adjacent to that unit for that turn. When positioned properly, allies can warp from far distances and attack enemies they otherwise couldn't reach.

Kvasir takes 1.5x damage from cavalry-effective weapons like Thani or Binding Reginleif, and one blow from this type of weapon will deal significant damage. Make sure you know what weapons you are up against before hopping too far into the line of battle!
