What Kind of Character Are They? | ・Weapon skill grants bonus stats, a Null Follow-up effect, and damage reduction on foe's first attack to unit during combat, and grants post-combat healing and another action to unit after combat. Exclusive Special neutralizes effects that slow down unit's Special charges and grants another action to unit after combat. |
Might: 14 Range: 2 Accelerates Special trigger (cooldown count-1). If unit initiates combat or foe's HP ≥ 75% at start of combat, grants Atk/Spd/Def/Res+5 to unit, grants bonus to unit's Atk/Spd = 15% of unit's Spd at start of combat, and neutralizes effects that guarantee foe's follow-up attacks and effects that prevent unit's follow-up attacks during combat. If unit initiates combat, reduces damage from foe's first attack by 70% during combat and restores 7 HP to unit after combat. If unit initiates combat, grants another action to unit after combat, and inflicts "restricts movement to 1 space" on unit and Pair Up cohort through their next action (will not trigger again for 2 turns after triggering). |
Cooldown Count = 3 Boosts damage by 45% of unit's Spd when Special triggers. Neutralizes effects that inflict "Special cooldown charge -X" on unit during combat. If unit initiates combat, after combat, if unit's Special triggered and unit survives, grants another action to unit and inflicts "restricts movement to 1 space" on unit and Pair Up cohort through their next action (once per trun). (This effect has priority over other similar effects; in such cases, these other similar effects are treated as not having triggered.) |
If unit initiates combat, deals 7 damage to foe as combat begins (effects that reduce damage "during combat" do not apply; will not reduce foe's HP below 1), grants Atk/Spd+7 to unit during combat, and applies 【Divine Vein (Flame)】 on 5 spaces in a line centered on foe's space (oriented left to right based on the direction unit is facing) for 1 turn after combat. 【Divine Vein (Flame)】 Applies the following effects on space: Acts as difficult terrain for foes with Range = 2 (moving over this space costs +1 movement; movement cost cannot exceed unit's allowed movement; "cannot be slowed by terrain" effects do not apply). At start of enemy phase, deals 7 damage to foe, and also, as combat begins, deals an additional 7 damage to foe (effects that reduce damage "during combat" do not apply; will not reduce foe's HP below 1). (Divine Vein effects do not stack; replaces any existing Divine Vein effect; Divine Vein effects applied simultaneously cancel each other out.) |
If unit initiates combat, deals 7 damage to foe as combat begins (effects that reduce damage during combat do not apply; will not reduce foe's HP below 1), inflicts Spd/Res-4 on foe during combat, and deals damage = 20% of foe's Res (excluding area-of-effect Specials). |
After combat, inflicts Def/Res-7 on target and foes within 2 spaces of target through their next actions, grants Atk+6 to unit and allies within 2 spaces of unit for 1 turn, and grants 【Pathfinder】 to unit for 1 turn. |

When using an Ascendant Floret, we recommend getting the next superboon if it fits the hero. If not, consider what stat your hero needs most.
The best IVs for Gullveig are +Spd and -Res. Boosting Spd improves Gullveig's already high Spd from base 47 to base 50, and also improves the Atk/Spd bonuses granted by Quietus Gullveig. Gullveig is reliant on her Spd to create follow-up attacks with the aid of her tome's inherent Null Follow-Up effect, thus, increasing her Spd as much as possible is ideal.
Gullveig's Res is below average and is a safe bane to take as decreasing it won't affect any of her matchups.
We recommend +Spd when merging Gullveig up to +10 for similar reasons above. Spd is her most important stat and should be boosted as much as possible.

Gullveig's base kit already excels as an offensive set, allowing Gullveig to defeat up to three enemies in one turn. Blade Session provides the best offensive stats among the Sacred Seal options.

Equipping Wings of Mercy allows Gullveig to warp to wounded allies and defeat multiple enemies. This kit is perfect when paired with a Galeforce initiator whose goal is to defeat enemies and lower their HP to get into the HP threshold for Wings of Mercy.

Note: Stats bonuses from skills are not taken into account.
Gullveig is a ranged magic attacker (range = 2). Therefore, when not accounting for the Weapon Triangle, the amount of damage she deals will be equivalent to her Atk minus the foe's Res stat.
Gullveig's exclusive weapon Quietus Gullveig grants Atk/Spd/Def/Res+5, bonus Atk/Spd equal to 15% of Gullveig's Spd at start of combat, a Null Follow-Up effect, 70% damage reduction on her foe's first attack during combat, and 7 HP post-combat healing to Gullveig after combat.
More importantly, Quietus Gullveig grants an extra action to Gullveig after combat. However, she is inflicted with the Gravity status for that extra action, and the extra action is only granted once every three turns.
Gullveig's exclusive Special Time is Light neutralizes effects that slow down her Special cooldown charges and boosts her damage by 45% of her Spd.
After combat, if Gullveig initiated combat and Time is Light triggered, Time is Light grants Gullveig an extra action after combat. However, she is inflicted with the Gravity status for that extra action.
Time is Light triggers first before similar skills that grant extra actions after combat, such as her weapon Quietus Gullveig.
Having both of these exclusive skills allows Gullveig to act up to three times in one turn, making her one of the deadliest offensive unit in the game capable of clearing multiple foes in one turn!
Gullveig takes 1.5x damage from cavalry-effective weapons like Thani or Binding Reginleif, and one blow from this type of weapon will deal significant damage. Make sure you know what weapons you are up against before hopping too far into the line of battle!

Value of Skills | ★★★★★ |
---|
Gullveig has Flared Sparrow, Occultist's Strike, and Def/Res Smoke 3 as valuable inheritance options.
We heavily recommend using inheritance onto the target unit beforehand to learn the pre-requisite skills, as you can inherit all three of these rare skills at the same time.
Additionally, Gullveig is a powerful hero, consider keeping at least one copy of her in your barracks.
