What Kind of Character Are They? | ・Red tome cavalry with very high firepower ・Can score double attacks under certain conditions ・Posseses an upgraded Duel skill, R Duel Cavalry 4 |
Might: 14 Range: 2 Accelerates Special trigger (cooldown count-1). At start of combat, if foe's HP ≥ 75%, grants Atk/Spd+6 to unit during combat, and also, if unit initiates combat and unit or an ally has already entered combat during the same phase, unit attacks twice. |
Cooldown Count = 2 Treats foe's Def/Res as if reduced by 30% during combat. |
Grants HP+5, Atk/Spd/Def/Res+2. If unit is 5★, level 40, a Legendary or a Mythic Hero, and unit's stats total less than 175, treats unit's stats as 175 in modes like Arena. If unit is 5★, level 40, not a Legendary or a Mythic Hero, and unit's stats total less than 180, treats unit's stats as 180 in modes like Arena. (Higher-scoring opponents will appear. Stat total calculation excludes any values added by merges and skills.) |
Inflicts Spd/Res -3 on foe and neutralizes foe's bonuses to Spd/Res (from skills like Fortify, Rally, etc.) during combat. |
At start of turn, if unit is adjacent to an ally, grants Atk+5 to unit and adjacent allies for 1 turn. |
Stat | Superboon/Superbane | IV Recommendation |
---|---|---|
HP (17) | ★★★☆☆ | |
Atk (23) | ★★★★★ | |
Spd (10) | ★★★★☆ | |
Def (5) | ★★☆☆☆ | |
Res (4) | ★★☆☆☆ |
◯ = Stat gains +4 with a superboon, ✕= Stat goes down by -4 with a superbane, - = No assets or flaws
See the IV Checker for All Units | Trait Fruits—How to Change IVs |
When using an Ascendant Floret, we recommend getting the next superboon if it fits the hero. If not, consider what stat your hero needs most.
The best IVs for Spring Severa are +Atk and -Def. Her Spd is pretty high, and her kit makes way for quad attacks, so even a small increase in +Atk means big damage. Her defensive stats are very low, but since her Res and HP are superbanes, it is best if you can take a -Def stat instead.
You can also go for a +Spd IV as it is important to her, and it is a superboon!
We recommend a +Atk IV when merging Spring Severa to 10. This is for the same reasons as above. At this point, she can take out a wide range of units if she triggers her quad attack mechanic. You can also take a +Spd boon too.

A budget build for Spring Severa. Death Blow 3 Seal is picked up to maximize her damage from the potential quad-attacks she can score. You can get another seal for the A slot if you need to such as Death Blow 4.

Note: Stats bonuses from skills are not taken into account.
Spring Severa is a ranged magic attacker (range = 2). Therefore, when not accounting for the Weapon Triangle, the amount of damage she deals will be equivalent to her Atk minus the foe's Res stat.
Severa's weapon is quite powerful—not only does it accelerate her Special trigger, but also if her foe's HP ≥ 75%, it also gives her +6 to her Atk and Spd.
Additionally, if she has already attacked or if an ally has already attacked, her second battle for the turn will make her attack twice.
Coupled with her very high Spd stat, she can quad attack if everything goes right.
This means that she can attack one enemy unit, be given another action by a Dancer, and then attack again to get the double attack, potentially quading if she's fast enough.
Because of the Special trigger acceleration, Specials like the native Moonbow will grant her quick K.O.'s on foes.
R Duel Cavalry 4 is a special skill that treats the unit’s stats as 175 in the Arena, allowing your overall score to increase when using Spring Severa. It is usable by any red cavalry unit, so equip it and increase your score as you would like, but keep in mind that as an A slot skill it means you will lose the ability to useful, powerful A skills like Fury 4 or Death Blow 4.
Because it is an upgrade from R Duel Cavalry 3, it also gives Atk/Spd/Def/Res +2 on top of the original +5 HP.
Spring Severa has the B skill Lull Spd/Res, which will inflict Spd/Res-3 on a foe in combat, and nullify bonuses to those stats. This will increase her damage and rate of follow-up attacks, and it has the powerful property of nulliying Spd/Res buffs. This increases her damage potential by a ton since it widens the window of opportunity for quad-attacks when combined with Gullinkambi Egg's effects.
Spring Severa scoring a quad attack
Joint Hone Atk will give both Severa and an adjacent ally Atk+5, provided that they start the turn adjacent to eachother. This is very great for her weapon , which attacks twice under certain conditions, and combined with the effects of Lull Spd/Res 3, his damage output for each hit will be quite large.
While R Duel Cavalry 4 does give some nice stats, the A skill can be home to very powerful skills that are cornerstones for great builds. If you plan to use Spring Severa outside of the Arena, make sure to get her an A skill that allows her to perform better in combat.
Spring Severa takes 1.5x damage from cavalry-effective weapons like Ridersbane or a Wolf weapon like Rauðrwolf+, and one blow from this type of weapon is sure to take her down. Make sure you know what weapons you are up against before hopping too far into the line of battle!
With only 26 Def and 19 Res at Lvl. 40, Spring Severa is susceptible to both physical and magical attacks.
Be careful and move her out of range of any enemy units when she attacks!
