Nerþuz Skills at 5★

Might: 16 Range: 1
Accelerates Special trigger (cooldown count-1). At start of combat, if unit's HP ≥ 25%, grants Atk/Spd/Def/Res+X during combat (X = unit's max Special cooldown count value × 2, + 5), grants Special cooldown charge +1 per attack (only highest value applied; does not stack), and neutralizes effects that guarantee foe's follow-up attacks and effects that prevent unit's follow-up attacks during combat. At start of turn, if unit is adjacent to only beast or dragon allies or if unit is not adjacent to any ally, unit transforms (otherwise, unit reverts). If unit transforms, grants Atk+2, and if unit initiates combat, inflicts Atk/Def-4 on foe during combat and foe cannot make a follow-up attack.

Cooldown Count = 5
If unit initiates combat, grants unit another action after combat. (Once per turn. )

If unit or foe initiates combat after moving to a different space, grants bonus to unit's Atk/Spd during combat = X + 6 (X = number of spaces moved by whoever initated combat; max 4.) If X ≥ 2, neutralizes unit's penalties to Atk/Spd during combat.

At start of combat, if unit's HP ≥ 25% , inflicts Spd/Def-5 on foe during combat, reduces damage from foe's first attack by 40% during combat, and unit's next attack deals damage = total damage reduced (by any source, including other skills; resets at end of combat), and also, if number of allies adjacent to unit is ≤ 1. neutralizes effects that inflict "Special cooldown charge-X" on unit during combat and inflicts 【Gravity】 on target and foes adjacent to target after combat.

At start of turn, if number of allies adjacent to unit ≤ 2, grants Atk/Spd+6 and 【Canto (1)】 to unit for 1 turn. If number of allies adjacent to unit ≤ 1, grants Atk/Spd+3 to unit during combat.

Recommended IVs

Stat Superboon/Superbane IV Recommendation
HP (40) HP Superbane ★★★☆☆
Atk (42) Attack Boon ★★★★☆
Spd (47) Spd Bane ★★★★★
Def (30) No Def IV ★★★☆☆
Res (20) No Res IV ★★☆☆☆

◯ = Stat gains +4 with a superboon, ✕= Stat goes down by -4 with a superbane, - = No assets or flaws

See the IV Checker for All Units Trait Fruits—How to Change IVs

When using an Ascendant Floret, we recommend getting the next superboon if it fits the hero. If not, consider what stat your hero needs most.

+Spd / -Res

The best IVs for Nerþuz are +Spd and -Res. With her base 47 Spd, she can compete with the fastest units in the metagame. Her Horn of the Land's Null Follow-Up effect and Special cooldown count acceleration are greatly improved by boosting Spd, allowing Nerþuz to create more reliable follow-up attack opportunities.

Nerþuz's Res is quite poor at only base 20 and reducing it further should not impact her matchups.

+Spd for a +10 merge

We recommend +Spd when merging Nerþuz up to +10 for similar reasons above. Boosting Spd improves her performance the most.

Nerþuz is a close physical attacker (range = 1). Therefore, when not accounting for the Weapon Triangle, the amount of damage she deals will be equivalent to her Atk minus the foe's Def stat.

Nerþuz Strengths

Horn of the Land is a great offensive weapon!

Nerþuz Attack - Fire Emblem Heroes

Nerþuz's exclusive weapon Horn of the Land accelerates her Special trigger, grants bonus Special cooldown charges per attack, and has built-in Null Follow-Up. These effects allow Nerþuz to quickly trigger her Special skill.

Additionally, Horn of the Land grants bonus Atk/Spd/Def/Res during combat dependent on her Special skill's maximum cooldown count value. When equipped with her base kit's Galeforce, Horn of the Land will grant Atk/Spd/Def/Res+13 during combat.

Horn of the Land also has the standard cavalry beast transformation effect which grants Atk+2 and inflicts Atk/Def-4 and follow-up negation onto her foe when Nerþuz initiates combat.

Fruit of Life has multiple effects that swing combat

Nerþuz also comes with an exclusive B skill in Fruit of Life. This skill inflicts Spd/Def-5 onto her foe during combat, reduces damage from her foe's first attack by 40%, and increases the damage of Nerþuz's next attack by the total damage reduced during that combat.

Additionally, if Nerþuz has 1 or less adjacent allies during combat, Fruit of Life neutralizes effects that slow down Nerþuz's Special cooldown charges and inflicts 【Gravity】 onto her foe and all foes adjacent to that foe.

Paired with the 【Canto (1)】 effect of her base kit's Alarm Atk/Spd, Fruit of Life allows Nerþuz to position herself away from her foes and keep herself safe after combat.

Nerþuz Weaknesses

Weak to Cavalry Effective Weapons

Nerþuz takes 1.5x damage from cavalry-effective weapons like Thani or Binding Reginleif, and one blow from this type of weapon will deal significant damage. Make sure you know what weapons you are up against before hopping too far into the line of battle!

Weak to Beast Effective Weapons

Nerþuz takes 1.5x damage from beast-effective weapons like Brave Eliwood's Nini's Ice Lance or Picnic Flora's Sæhrímnir, and one blow from this type of weapon will deal significant damage. Make sure you know what weapons you are up against before hopping too far into the line of battle!

Unable to Get Mythic Blessing Bonuses

Since Nerþuz is a Light Mythic hero, she cannot receive bonus stats during Light season like other non-Mythic heroes. Her role as an offensive Mythic hero is hindered by not receiving bonus stats. Furthermore, using her on Astra season will decrease your overall lift gain.

However, as a Mythic hero, she will easily find a place onto your raiding parties and can fulfill an offensive role without sacrificing team slots for non-Mythic heroes.
