What Kind of Character Are They? | ・Weapon skill grants bonus Def/Res, bonus Special charges, and foe bonus neutralization to unit and nearby allies, and grants bonus stats, penalty neutralization, and damage reduction to unit during combat. ・Exclusive A skill grants bonus stats, Distant Counter, and damage reduction piercing to unit and inflicts Atk/Def penalties onto foe. |
Might: 16 Range: 1 Accelerates Special trigger (cooldown count-1). At start of turn, if unit is within 2 spaces of an ally, grants Def/Res+6, "Special cooldown charge +1 per attack during combat (only highest value applied; does not stack)," and "neutralizes foe's bonuses during combat" to unit and allies within 2 spaces of unit for 1 turn. If unit is within 3 spaces of an ally, grants bonus to unit's Atk/Spd/Def/Res = 5 + number of allies within 3 spaces of unit x 3 (max 14), neutralizes unit's penalties, and reduces damage from foe's first attack by 40% during combat ("first attack" normally means only the first strike; for effects that grant "unit attacks twice," it means the first and second strikes), and restores 7 HP to unit after combat. |
Cooldown Count = 3 Boosts Special damage by 40% of unit's Def. If foe's Range = 2 and unit or foe's Special is ready or triggered before or during this combat, reduces damage from foe's next attack by 40% (once per combat; excluding area-of-effect Specials). |
If foe initiates combat or foe's HP ≥ 75% at start of combat, grants Atk/Spd/Def/Res+9 to unit during combat, and the following effects occur during combat based on the value of X (X = total number of 【Bonus】 effects active on unit and allies within 2 spaces of unit, excluding stat bonuses): if ≥ 1, inflicts Atk/Def-X x 2 on foe (max 12); if ≥3, unit can counterattack regardless of foe's range; if ≥ 5, reduces the percentage of foe's non-Special "reduce damage by X%" skills by 50% (excluding area-of-effect Specials). |
Inflicts Atk/Spd-4 on foe, neutralizes effects that guarantee foe's follow-up attacks and effects that prevent unit's follow-up attacks, and increases the Spd difference necessary for foe to make a follow-up attack by 10 during combat (for example, if Spd difference necessary increases by 10, Spd must be ≥ 15 more than foe's Spd to make a follow-up attack; stacks with similar skills), and also, if unit's Spd ≥ foe's Spd-10, reduces damage from foe's first attack by 10 during combat ("first attack" normally means only the first strike; for effects that grant "unit attacks twice," it means the first and second strikes). |
If a foe uses bow, dagger, magic, or staff and initiates combat against an ally with 2 spaces of unit, triggers 【Savior】 on unit. If unit triggers Savior, grants Atk/Spd+4 during combat. 【Savior】 Unit takes ally’s space, enters combat in ally’s place, and receives all after-combat effects. Doesn't trigger if ally is on terrain that unit can't move to or if multiple units are able to use Savior during the same combat. If Savior triggers, after-combat movement effects don't occur. |

When using an Ascendant Floret, we recommend getting the next superboon if it fits the hero. If not, consider what stat your hero needs most.
The best IVs for Ascended Amelia are +Spd and -HP. As a fast armored unit, Ascended Amelia relies on her Spd stat to avoid follow-up attacks from her foes, which indirectly increases her bulk due to only being attacked once per combat.
HP is our bane of choice as Ascended Amelia relies on her defensive stats as a tank unit. HP is the easiest stat to patch up through blessings and unit bonuses in competitive game modes.
We recommend +Spd when merging Ascended Amelia to +10 to ensure she isn't receiving follow-up attacks from her foes as much as possible.

Ascended Amelia's base kit already functions well as a speedy Far Save tank. Equip a Sacred Seal that boosts Spd and a stat of your choice to maximize Amelia's Spd stat and prevent as many follow-up attacks as possible.

Note: Stats bonuses from skills are not taken into account.
Ascended Amelia is a close physical attacker (range = 1). Therefore, when not accounting for the Weapon Triangle, the amount of damage she deals will be equivalent to her Atk minus the foe's Def stat.
Ascended Amelia's Lance of Grado grants Def/Res+6, Special cooldown charges per attack, and a status that neutralizes foe's bonuses to Amelia and nearby allies at the start of each turn.
In combat, Lance of Grado grants Amelia bonus Atk/Spd/Def/Res equal to 5 plus 3x the number of allies within 3 spaces, 40% damage reduction on her foe's first attack, neutralizes Amelia's penalties, and heals Amelia 7 HP after combat.
While these effects are quite common and found on many other heroes and weapons, combining all of them into one weapon makes Ascended Amelia a sturdy unit difficult to take down in one combat.
Ascended Amelia's exclusive A skill Obsidian Tactics grants Amelia Atk/Spd/Def/Res+9 during combat and other effects based on the total number of non-stat【Bonus】 effects active on her and allies within 2 spaces:
Obsidian Tactics improves its effects as more non-stat【Bonus】 effects are applied to Ascended Amelia and her allies. Ensure that these effects are present on the team to maximize Ascended Amelia's performance in battle!
Ascended Amelia takes 1.5x damage from armor-effective weapons like Randgríðr, and one blow from this type of weapon will deal significant damage. Make sure you know what weapons you are up against before hopping too far into the line of battle!
