Nerþuz is an offensive Light Mythic hero that will excel in a player phase strategy. She can easily charge up her Special, preferably Galeforce, through her Horn of the Land and Fruit of Life exclusive skills, even if her foe is equipping skills that slow down Special charges.
All of the Young units on the No Matter Where banner are strong, but we anticipate Young Mark and Young Hector to be the most relevant among all of them.
Young Mark has his exclusive weapon Total War Tome which inflicts Atk/Spd/Def/Res-5, 【Sabotage】, and 【Stall】 onto the closest foes within 5 spaces of Young Mark and all foes within 2 spaces of those foes.
【Sabotage】 is a new status condition that is similar to 【Foe Penalty Doubler】, except it is applied to the foe instead of the attacking unit.
Young Mark also has a Duo Skill which inflicts 【Isolation】 , 【Guard】, and Special cooldown count+2 onto foes within 3 rows or 3 columns centered on Young Mark when activated.
With one push of a button, Young Mark can severely cripple multiple foes, swinging the momentum into your favor.
Young Hector is a tough tank unit that is difficult to bring down. His Valiant War Axe provides Atk/Def penalties, a Guard effect, and 30% damage reduction on all of his foe's attacks (excluding area-of-effect Specials). The damage reduction applies for every attack and not just the first attack Young Hector receives.
Young Hector also debuts a new Special called Armored Beacon. When this Special triggers, Young Hector's damage is boosted by 40% of his Def.
Additionally, if Young Hector is facing a ranged foe and either his or his foe's Specials are ready or already triggered before or during the current combat, Armored Beacon grants 40% damage reduction on the next attack Young Hector receives.
Young Hectorr's bulk through stats and damage reduction effects is already very high, and he adds to it with his exclusive A skill Ostia's Heart.
This skill grants the Distant Counter effect, inflicts Atk/Def-8 onto Young Hector's foe, and heals Young Hector 7 HP for each of his attacks.

It is currently an Earth Season month and these are the heroes we expect to see the most in Arena aside from the usual suspects like Valentine's Chrom, New Year Peony, and Ninja Corrin (F).
Legendary Tiki (Young) is the current bonus Legendary unit. She is a great Far Save unit as With Everyone! II not only allows her to use Savior but also grants her Atk/Spd/Def/Res+4 during combat.
Legendary Robin (M) is arguably the best Earth Legendary we have in the game so far. His kit centers on providing a Unity effect to everyone including himself, allowing his team to shed off any visible penalties inflicted onto them.
Legendary Nanna is an incredibly potent offensive Earth Legendary hero with her ability to outright ignore damage reduction and defensive Specials. Hoðr's Zeal.also provides Desperation which synchronizes well with Lands Sword's follow-up condition.
Cornelia is the free-to-play option among the bonus units in Arena. Her exclusive staff Asclepius has a built-in Sabotage Flash effect that prevents foes from making counterattacks. Additionally, it can also inflict Sabotage Atk/Res and has a built-in Wrathful Staff Effect for added offense.
Legendary Tiki (Young) mostly functions as a Far Save tank nowadays, especially with her new With Everyone! II. A good strategy you can use to counter her is to let her allies advance to make sure that she's out of range. After all, she is an armored unit which means that she can only move to one space during her turn. If you are using ranged units, this is the best way to make sure that you do not trigger her Savior skill and the only way to pick off her vulnerable allies without her intervening.
Legendary Robin (M) is probably one of the most challenging units to defeat. He is a hard-hitting unit with enough defense to survive any attacks he receives, especially with the Unity effect that helps him negate penalties. The best way to counter him is to use a Red-Melee, preferably physical, with strong offenses that can equip Null Follow-Up to prevent him from serving up massive damages from his follow-ups.
Legendary Nanna is mostly used for hit-and-run strategies. She will predictably try to move close to your units and attack anyone she reaches. The best way to counter or defeat her is to let her come close to your unit's range and attack from there. She doesn't have the best bulk, so she can easily go down on strong offensive attacks.
Cornelia does not have enough bulk to survive any physical attacks. She can simply be defeated with any physical units with maximized offenses.

The Aether Raids meta has not changed since the introduction of Fomortiis and Gotoh.
Fomortiis is a tanky Anima Mythic hero with multiple effects that hinder offensive raiding parties immensely. His presence on the A Hero Rises 2023 banner along with a free copy given to all players will vastly increase his usage in Aether Raids Defense.
What makes Fomortiis a pain to face in battle is his exclusive A skill Nightmare. This skill inflicts Atk/Def-10 on his foe during combat and reduces damage from his foe's first attack by 30%.
More importantly, after combat, Nightmare ends the turn of the closest foes within 4 spaces of the foe who attacked him. This is an amazing effect which indirectly improves his survival by receiving less attacks, and the 4 space condition makes it a difficult skill to play around. Galeforce teams will require careful positioning in order to avoid this effect.
Fomortiis' status as an Armored Defense Mythic hero allows him to fulfill the Savior role without taking up a valuable non-Mythic hero slot in Aether Raids Defense team compositions. He can equip Savior skills and protect the team from powerful initiators, while the rest of his team can be fully geared towards offensive performance.
While Duma is another Armored Defense Mythic, his C slot is occupied by Upheaval+, which is the primary reason to field Duma. Fomortiis doesn't have an exclusive skill in his C slot, allowing him to equip Savior skills while fulfilling his non-Savior role.
His overall bulk is impressive, with base 46 HP, 46 Def, and 44 Res. As of the time of his release, his base 46 Def is the highest in the entire game, and his base 44 Res is the second highest. He will need these stats in order to fulfill his role, as he will not receive Mythic blessing bonuses due to being a Mythic hero himself.
Embla still warps Light/Dark season by being the Mythic to prepare multiple teams for.
Her exclusive C skill Severance inflicts 【Undefended】 and 【Feud】 on all foes within 3 columns or 3 rows centered on Embla at the start of the turn, shutting off Savior skills and rendering supports useless.
Players have begun fielding two Emblas, with one in column 2 and the other in column 5. This setup inflicts 【Undefended】 and 【Feud】 onto all six columns, effectively shutting down Save balls from the start.
Cavlines have been the main teammates of an Embla composition, with their extended range allowing instant offense on turn one. With the Emblas shutting off support and Savior, the Cavalry units have no trouble picking off the weaker members of raiding parties.
Nerþuz is an offensive Light Mythic hero that excels in player phase strategies such as Galeforce and Hit and Run.
Her exclusive weapon Horn of the Land accelerates her Special trigger, grants bonus Special cooldown charges per attack, and has built-in Null Follow-Up. These effects allow Nerþuz to quickly trigger her Special skill.
Additionally, Horn of the Land grants bonus Atk/Spd/Def/Res during combat dependent on her Special skill's maximum cooldown count value. When equipped with her base kit's Galeforce, Horn of the Land will grant Atk/Spd/Def/Res+13 during combat.
Nerþuz also comes with an exclusive B skill in Fruit of Life. This skill inflicts Spd/Def-5 onto her foe during combat, reduces damage from her foe's first attack by 40%, and increases the damage of Nerþuz's next attack by the total damage reduced during that combat.
Additionally, if Nerþuz has 1 or less adjacent allies during combat, Fruit of Life neutralizes effects that slow down Nerþuz's Special cooldown charges and inflicts 【Gravity】 onto her foe and all foes adjacent to that foe.
Ninja Camilla is a strong unit that forces teams to prepare a counter for her or get checkmated in response.
Her Flowery Scroll provides an accelerated Special trigger, a brave attack on both phases, and a Vantage effect based on a Res-check.
Equipped with a 2 cooldown Special, she can attack twice and trigger her Special before her foe can even attack her once, allowing for easy knockouts if they're not tanky enough.
Ninja Camilla's presence on the A Hero Rises 2023 banner will increase her usage rate, forcing teams to prepare a counter for her on at least one of their raiding party slots.
Fomortiis has different counters depending on his build.
The Far Save build requires reaching enemy phase turn one in order to transform and activate his Distant Counter effect. Field an aggressive raiding party and use a powerful ranged unit to defeat him on turn one while he cannot counterattack. Nightmare's end-turn effect won't trigger if Fomortiis falls in combat.
The Near Save build is trickier to defeat, especially if he is equipped with Hardy Fighter 3. We recommend fortifying your team's survival against aggressive compositions like Cavlines and leaving Fomortiis as the last unit.
Embla shuts down Savior balls, and is often fielded on a Cavline team. These teams have powerful offensive options, but they all lack bulk.
Ensure you field an offensive raiding party in Light season such as Galeforce or Hit and Run. Using these teams, you can pick off most of the enemy units on turn one and then either retreat or unit block the remaining enemies in order to collect Aether resources on future turns.
Summer Edelgard is an amazing unit to field against Embla Cavlines, with her ability to act up to three times in one turn with Raging Storm and Galeforce. Equip self-recoil skills like Fury on her A and Sacred Seal slots, and bring a handful of units that can act multiple times in one turn with Wings of Mercy 3 equipped in order to sweep the map and keep your units safe.
Alternatively, a Vantage strategy can be fielded against these teams in order to prevent knockouts on any of your raiding party units.
Use a unit with high Atk, equip Vantage 3 or similar skills onto them, and move them forward. If using Vantage, ensure that they are under the HP threshold and that none of the enemy units can bypass it through the use of Hardy Bearing or sweep effects.
Finally, consider bringing an Omnitank unit and move them forward into the line of fire. This unit should be incredibly self-sufficient and capable of withstanding multiple attacks from different foes.
Nerþuz's offensive capabilities are powerful, but she still struggles against tank units that can withstand multiple attacks. Field a Near Save unit, ideally Green, in order to prevent Nerþuz from initiating safely.
If Nerþuz cannot attack safely into your team, she will be a hindrance on the battlefield, as she does not have skills that aid her allies in combat.
Ninja Camilla's niche is being able to attack twice, with one Special trigger, before her foe can counterattack. If her foe survives these two hits, Ninja Camilla will get doubled in response with her abysmal Spd stat.
Additionally, equipping the Hardy Bearing Sacred Seal prevents the Vantage effect of Flowery Scroll, allowing units to attack her first.
Alternatively, you can use units that prevent counterattacks to bypass her Flowery Scroll completely and attack twice through her low Spd stat.
