At start of combat, if unit's HP ≥ 25%, grants Atk/Res+6 to unit and deals damage = total penalties on foe during combat. (If the "calculates damage from staff like other weapons" effect is neutralized, damage from staff is calculated after combat damage is added.)

Rehabilitate+ Range: 1 Restores HP = 50% of Atk -10 (Minimum of 7 HP. ) If target’s HP is ≤ 50%, the lower the target’s HP, the more HP is restored.

+Res / -Spd

The best IVs for Cornelia are +Res and -Spd. She has a decently high Res stat at 40, which if boosted, can help her take full advantage of her base kit as it is centered around her Res stat.

At base 23, Cornelia's Spd is her worst stat, making it a safe choice for her bane.

+Res for a +10 merge

How to Use, Explanation

This build maximizes Cornelia's Res to win the check on her Asclepius. We opted for Wings of Mercy here as this build is meant to be used on Galeforce teams - providing Sabotage Flash allows the initiator to guarantee survival while relying on recoil skills to get into Wings of Mercy range.

Cornelia is a ranged magic attacker (range = 2). Therefore, when not accounting for the Weapon Triangle, the amount of damage she deals will be equivalent to her Atk minus the foe's Res stat.

Cornelia Strengths

Asclepius is a great exclusive staff!

Asclepius is one of Cornelia's highlights. It is an exclusive staff capable of inflicting Sabotage Atk/Res on foes, Flash, and bonus damages equal to the total penalties applied on foes. It also has a built-in Wrathful Staff effect, which gives you more freedom to choose a better Passive B skill like Atk/Res Tempo 3, for example.

Cornelia Weaknesses

Low Spd and Def

Cornelia doesn't have enough physical bulk to survive Def-based combats. She would likely go down with one hit from any physical attackers on the enemy lines. Thus, giving you the added responsibility of protecting her should you wish to deploy her on the battlefield.

She will also have a hard time making follow-up attacks due to her poor Spd stat. This also prevents her from taking full advantage of modern staff skills like Poetic Justice and Dazzling Shift, which inflicts Spd on foes but wouldn't matter much since her Spd will likely still be lower. However, Dazzling Shift is still a great option due to the warping effects it provides.
