Resplendent Attire has been released for Eldigan. With their Resplendent Attire equipped, they will have a different appearance, have new voice clips, and additionally, gain +2 to all stats. If you really like Eldigan or you want to make them stronger, you may want to buy a FEH pass and get the Resplendent Attire.
Stat | Superboon/Superbane | IV Recommendation |
---|---|---|

Atk (24) | ★★★★★ | |
Spd (5) | ★★★☆☆ | |
Def (8) | ★★★★☆ | |
Res (6) | ★★☆☆☆ |
◯ = Stat gains +4 with a superboon, ✕= Stat goes down by -4 with a superbane, - = No assets or flaws
See the IV Checker for All Units | Trait Fruits—How to Change IVs |
When using an Ascendant Floret, we recommend getting the next superboon if it fits the hero. If not, consider what stat your hero needs most.
The best IVs for Eldigan are +Atk and -HP. Eldigan relies heavily on Atk for offense as his low Spd is very unreliable. This makes a +Atk HP the best option for him as it helps him one-shot foes. His HP is of less importance and it can be supplemented for using weapon refinement so it is safe to take as a bane.
We recommend a +Atk IV when merging Eldigan to 10. With +10 merges, Eldigan's Atk stat will reach 55. This helps him widen the range of foes whom he can deal with within one attack.
At +10 merges, you may be able to rely on his Spd at this point so a +Spd can work especially because this is a superboon for Eldigan. If you go for his special refinement, keep Fury 3 and get Brazen Atk/Spd 3 as his sacred seal, he can reach 45 Spd at Brazen range which is a range that is more than reliable.

This build utilizes having Eldigan with a Support partner adjacent to him to activate Blue Flame. it works the same way as his DC Vantage build, with trying to chip his HP down enough to get with Vantage range and using Blue Flame to deal large amounts of damage.

This is a build for Eldigan using the weapon refine for Mystletainn and Fury 4. Stacking the effects will put Eldigan within Desperation and Brazen range, increasing his one-shot potential.

Eldigan takes a page out of his son's book with the same build that made Ares a popular merge project. Once Eldigan activates Bonfire, Dark Mystletainn will constantly recharge his special to ensure Bonfire is always up. Distant Counter allows Eldigan to counterattack at any range, and Vantage ensures Eldigan attacks first. Brazen Atk/Def synergizes with Vantage as both of these skills require Eldigan to have lost some HP first.
Exclusive Weapon Effect from Refining (Special Effect Type) | |
---|---|
SP: 400 | |
Might: 16 Range: 1 HP: +3 Accelerates Special trigger (cooldown count-1). Grants Atk/Spd/Def/Res+3. After combat, deals 6 damage to unit. :500 :200 |
|
The special effect refine for Mystletainn gives it a Fury 3 built-in effect that stacks with his native Fury 3 in the A slot.
We do not recommend this weapon refine as the weapon refine for Dark Mystletainn is better.
Exclusive Weapon Effect from Refining (Special Effect Type) | |
---|---|
SP: 400 | |
Might: 16 Range: 1 HP: 3 Accelerates Special trigger (cooldown count-1). If Special triggers before or during combat, grants Special cooldown count-2 after combat. If foe initiates combat or if foe's HP ≥ 75% at start of combat, grants Atk/Def+5 to unit during combat and deals +7 damage when Special triggers during combat. If foe's HP ≥ 75%, deals +7 damage when Special triggers before combat. :500 :200 |
|
Dark Mystletainn's refine will grant Atk/Def+5 to Eldigan if an enemy unit attacks him or if their HP is HP ≥ 75%.
He will also be able to potentially deal an additional +7 damage when his Special triggers and if the enemy HP requirement is fulfilled.
We recommend getting this refine as Eldigan will be a very potent physical damage tank and one that can take full advantage of using Vantage to one-shot enemy units.
Mystletainn can be evolved into Dark Mystletainn through the Weapon Refinery.
|
---|
Dark Mystletainn lowers his special skill's default cooldown by one. Additionally, if his special triggers in combat the cooldown count will be reduced by two. This makes Eldigan great for long battles and multi-map challenges. It allows for very easy Vantage sweep for Eldigan if he is given a proper set-up beforehand.

Note: Stats bonuses from skills are not taken into account.
Eldigan is a close physical attacker (range = 1). Therefore, when not accounting for the Weapon Triangle, the amount of damage he deals will be equivalent to his Atk minus the foe's Def stat.
Eldigan is a perfect unit to have in the front lines because of his high mobility and decent bulk, If you are planning to deploy him into all-cavalry teams, make sure to integrate defensive skills like Ward Cavalry and Fortify Cavalry to improve his bulk.
Mystletainn can be refined to Dark Mystletainn will not only accelerate Eldigan's special trigger by -1 but will also grant Special cooldown -2 if his Special triggers during combat.
It allows Growling Light or any other special to be actiavted more frequently, enabling him to one-shot enemy units.
His weapon refine also allows him to deal an additional +7 damage if his Special triggers and if the requirements are met.
Eldigan's native A skill is Fury 3 which grants him +3 to all stats, but inflicts -6 HP every time he exits combat.
This synergizes well with his Dark Mystletainn weapon refine, as you can also integrate skills such as Vantage 3 or Brazen skills to make him extremely bulky and will enable him to take out melee units that initiate combat against him.
Eldigan has low Spd. He will be taken out by many enemies if ever he is attacked. Make use of his high mobility to pick the right targets and prolong his presence in the battlefield!
Eldigan's Res only sits at 19 at Lv.40. This makes it easy for magic users to take him out. Be mindful of Eldigan's positioning in relation to magical units that can easily take him out.
Eldigan takes 1.5x damage from cavalry-effective weapons like Ridersbane, and one blow from this type of weapon is sure to take him down. Make sure you know what weapons you are up against before hopping too far into the line of battle!

Eldigan does not possess any skills that are worth inheriting onto another unit. We recommend training and investing in him instead. If you get multiple copies of him, you can aim for a +10 merge Eldigan or send him home for some Hero Feathers.

After I was summoned into this realm, I had a strange revelation. Where I came from, I placed my absolute loyalty in my lord. But here, that lord is you. A knight of my caliber must serve his lord—no matter what the cut of that lord. So I have always believed. But I will confess this, now that I have spent so much time with you. I am honored to pledge my sword to a master of your qualities. Still, a knight cannot choose his master, and so I count myself most fortunate to have met you. Again and always—I forever pledge my sword and my loyalty to you. |
