When using an Ascendant Floret, we recommend getting the next superboon if it fits the hero. If not, consider what stat your hero needs most.

+Atk / -Def

The best IVs for Young Mark are +Atk and -Def. His Atk is very high at base 44, raised to 48 with a superboon, and together with the penalty stacking his kit offers, can lead to Young Mark dealing significant damage.

+Res is an alternative boon if you want to retain his Sabotage A/R 3 and maximize its effectiveness.

Young Mark has abysmal Def at base 20, and is a safe bane to take as it will not impact most of his matchups.

+Atk for a +10 merge

We recommend a +Atk IV when merging Young Mark up to +10, as his Res is already high enough to not require further investment.

Young Mark's exclusive weapon Total War Tome inflicts multiple significant penalties onto multiple foes that all add up and will heavily impact their performance.

At the start of each turn, Total War Tome inflicts Atk/Spd/Def/Res-5, 【Sabotage】, and 【Stall】 onto the closest foes within 5 spaces of Young Mark and all foes within 2 spaces of those foes.

【Sabotage】 is a new status condition that is similar to 【Foe Penalty Doubler】, except it is applied to the foe instead of the attacking unit.

Additionally, Total War Tome inflicts Atk/Spd/Def/Res-5 on Young Mark's foe during combat, grants Young Mark a guaranteed follow-up attack, and if a stat penalty is active on any foe within 2 spaces of the current foe, neutralizes effects that slow down Young Mark's Special charges.

This tome makes Young Mark a very powerful support hero that is a threat on the battlefield at all times. Young Mark is a clear example of silent but deadly with Total War Tome.

Duo Skill inflicts additional status effects and slows enemy Specials

Young Mark's Duo Skill inflicts 【Isolation】 , 【Guard】, and Special cooldown count+2 onto foes within 3 rows or 3 columns centered on Young Mark.

This Duo Skill is a very powerful effect, inflicting deadly penalties on-demand with the push of a button. In a game mode like Summoner Duels, this skill can swing the momentum easily.
