Summer! Swimsuits! Sea Time! is an event that consists of two parts bridging Version 2.1 and Version 2.2 in Persona 5: The Phantom X (P5X). Learn how to beat Genbu and Raja Naga, complete each sub-event, see their rewards, and find out the release date and duration of this event!
List of Contents

To clear the challenge battle, players must first target and defeat Raja Naga. While its alive, it will guarantee that its Naga allies will stay alive even when their HP is completely depleted. Once it is defeated, the other Naga can be slain like normal.

At the start of the challenge fight, the Raja Naga will grant itself and its Naga allies stacks of Royal Decree, which provides a notable damage reduction from your team's attacks. Each attack will remove one stack of Royal Decree, and will completely deplete after 25 stacks have been removed.

At some point, if the Raja Naga survives in the battle while still having Royal Decree stacks, it will target one of your allies. At a certain point, it will unleash a high-damage attack at them, which can kill them in one hit if you do not have any Defense buffs active.

Both Raja Naga and the Nagas all have Electric attacks, firing Maziongas and Ziodynes quite often as their basic attack. Take this to your advantage and field a team comp that is resistant to Electric attacks!

You should prioritize defeating Yurlungur first as it can heal them and make the battle longer. You will be at a disadvantage if the battle takes longer as Genbu can activate its abilities, High Tide and Ebb Tide.

You can removed 1 stack of Submerged if you defeat a Decarabia. You can try to defeat them after Yurlungur, but you can ignore them if you think you can defeat Genbu in the next turn.

Try to defeat Genbu as early as 3rd Turn as he will be able to use Ebb Tide to reset and inflict multiple Submerged Stacks and heal itself.
Submerged is an ability where it damages the foes equal to 10% of max HP at the end of each turn. It lasts 4 turns and can stack.
| Personas | ||
|---|---|---|
Dionysus
|
Kohryu
|
Leanan Sidhe
|
All of the Nagas are weak to Psycokinetic attacks, making the Persona choices for Wonder a lot easier. Dionysus can attack while boosting the team's critical hit rate with Revolution, Kohryu has two powerful multi-target attacks in Spirit Strike and Psycho Blast, and Leanan Sidhe can decrease the enemies' defense with Psychokinetic Disruption.
| Personas | ||
|---|---|---|
Dominion
|
Janosik
|
Surt
|
These Personas can be used on any stage in this sub-event. Dominion can provide bonus damage to the team, Janosik as the AoE damage dealer, and Surt for the negative defense.
| Characters | |||
|---|---|---|---|
Seaside Tomoko |
Ayaka Sakai |
Tropical Motoha |
Miyu Sahara |
Not only are these the best characters to use for this sub-event, this is the best team comp for the event in general. Seaside Tomoko shines best when paired together with Tropical Motoha, supporting her incredible sweeping damage with her own multi-target Psychic attacks that also provide heals for the team.
Chord is part of the team for her damage buffs and ability to trigger Highlight with just a skill. For survivability, we recommend Puppet for her bevy of shield that goes well with Seaside Tomoko's constant healing.
| Characters | |||
|---|---|---|---|
Tropical Motoha |
Ayaka Sakai |
Minami Miyashita |
Yumi Shiina |
These are best characters to use for this sub-event. Tropical Motoha is highly recommended as her Bless Damage is the strongest at the current version of the game. You can have Minami Miyashita as the healer of the team.
Ayaka Sakai can be your damage buffer and Highlight provider. Yumi Shiina can be your off-field character as she can buff the damage of a single element in battle, which should be focused on Bless as your DPS is Tropical Motoha.
| Enemy | WK | STR | NUL | RPL |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Raja Naga | Psychic | Electric | - | - |
| Naga | Psychic | Electric | - | - |
All of the enemies in the boss stage are weak to Psychic attacks and resistant to Electric attacks. This makes team composition a lot simpler compared to the Gembu stage as both of their affinities are the same.
We suggest to build a team around a Psychic DPS with all of them as strong as possible in Level 80, especially against enemies on Stages 4 and 5. If you have both Seaside Tomoko and Tropical Motoha, they are the best characters to run for this event.
| Enemy | WK | STR | NUL | RPL |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Genbu | Bless | Psychic | Ice | - |
| Decarabia | Bless | Nuke, Curse | - | Fire |
| Yurlungur | Bless | - | Electric | - |
All enemies in the Boss Stage are weak against Bless, so it's best to build your team around a Bless Team. You should also level up your characters to at least level 80, as the enemies will be at that level on Stage 4 and 5.

Strange Changes on the Beach is a sub-event where you fight enemies like Genbu (for Part 1) and Raja Naga (for Part 2). You have to complete the stages for enemies first (Normal) to unlock the boss.
You can easily clear the Normal Stages if you use the Tropical Motoha Trial Character for Part 1 and Seaside Tomoko for Part 2 of this sub-event!

The Shaved Ice Challenge is a mini-game where players must serve customers their orders correctly. Wonder must use the correct cup, flavor, topping and even accessory as per the request of the customer.
There is a total of 16 stages to complete, and an Endless mode after completing them all. The first nine are availabel at the start of Part 2, with the other stages unlocking on later days.

At the end of each round, one of Wonder's friends will show up to order a specific Shaved Ice without any visual aid. There is no time limit, but you only have one shot to get their order correct.

Shooting Challenge is a mini-game where you have to shoot pirates to earn points and keep up your combo. You can pick a character with your desired ability to easily push through the stages and complete the goals.
There is a total of 16 stages to complete and 1 Endless mode. It doesn't have entry limit and you can always replay other stages.

You can unlock characters by completing specific stages in this mini-game. You can also level them up by using them to clear the stages. Leveling up the characters will increase the effects of their abilities and help you meet the target for the goals.

Each pirate has different HP and equivalent points. It will give you an advantage when clearing the stages if you know their HP as you will be able to know how many times to hit them.

You should get the character with the ability that fits the required goals for a stage. For example, if total score needed is too high, you will want to use Riko on that stage to reach it as she has 2x score on each elimination.

You only need to play through the story for the characters to get the rewards. However, you will have to wait for the stories to unlock, as they are not playable on the release of this event.

Characters will only get unlocked in the Fireworks Festival event after completing their story here. You must complete all stories or they won't appear on the invitation menu in the Fireworks Festival event.
Fireworks Festival Event

My party is maxed out and I still can't defeat Genbu 5, the only difference is I have Riko Tanemura as my navigator. I can't kill the adds in time so the boss absorbs them, I don't know what I am doing wrong.
