Riddle’s playstyle is centered around using her passive stacks, Childish Heart. Spending them can help her boost heals and shields received to the party, or increase their attack, depending on the skill used. When used right, she enables the good characters to great, and great characters to top-tier.

The Attack buffs of Riddle gets stronger depending on her Childish Heart stacks. Her skills Surprise Squad and Ready for Adventure provide different ways for her to get Childish Heart stacks.
No matter what skill she uses, Riddle provides an attack buff depending on the number of Childish Heart stacks that she consumes.
When Ally With Affection Attacks
Surprise Squad grants Affection to the whole party. While your characters have Affection, Riddle gains Childish Heart stacks when they use a skill to attack.
When a character with Affection uses a skill with multiple hits, Riddle gets multiple Childish Heart stacks depending on the number of hits.
Use Ready for Adventure Without Any Childish Heart Stacks
Ready for Adventure, meanwhile, immediately grants 2 Childish Heart stacks when used. However, Haruna must not have Childish Heart stacks before using Ready for Adventure.
Use Courageous Campaign for More Buffs
When you have 2 or more Childish Heart stacks, use Courageous Campaign to further increase the party's attack. If you can get a maxium of 5 Childish Heart stacks, Courageous Campaign will provide tremendous buffs.
Highlight Provides Damage and Buffs
Riddle's Highlight also provide attack buffs while dealing damage to enemy. The Highlight consumes Mystery stacks, which Riddle gets whenever she earns Childish Heart stacks.
Riddle can acquire a maximum of 5 Mystery stacks. You will want to have 5 stacks of Mystery before using her Highlight to gain more powerful buffs.

While Courageous Campaign provides the biggest attack buffs, do not bring it to Level 10 immediately. Only the buff cap of Courageous Campaign goes up along with its level. Wait until you raise Riddle's attack to at least 4,800 before leveling up Courageous Campaign.
Instead focus on leveling up Thief Tactics in order to increase the attack buff of Riddle's Highlight. The buffs of Ready for Adventure also goes up along with its level.
Only increase the level of Surprise Squad if you want Riddle to also deal damage.

Riddle works well with any team but you will want to team her up with characters that have multiple-hit skills, like Skull. You will want to also include Leon to provide buffs and shield while helping Skull activate Rebound.
You will want Wonder to have a Physical Persona for the party to receive a 10% Physical skill damage. It will also be good to choose a Persona that can increase the damage of Skull.
