Always Path Your Way to a Shop

Persona 5 X - Marthym Shop
There will always be at least 1 shop per station that you can go to. Your railway coins are better spent right away to increase the power and defense of your party and not let it go to waste until the end of the run.

However, all of these actions need a lot of coins so try to save coins as much as you can before you visit a shop.

Upgrade Your Train to Trigger Instakills Often

If the average level of your party exceeds the enemy, you can instakill them without needing to fight and still get their rewards. You can also upgrade your train to further extend the enemies you can instakill past level 80.

You Can Only Fully Instakill Enemies Up to Difficulty 6

Persona 5 X - DIfficulty 7 Instakill
Even with a fully maxed out party and train, you cannot instakill all enemies past difficulty 6 due to their inflated levels that you cannot reach. Make sure to be prepared before entering difficulty 7 and above railway.

You can get first-time rewards each time you complete a difficulty in Metro of Desire. Defeating a higher level difficulty will complete all the previous difficulty.

You can also get more rewards if you complete a run with a team that contains 2 or more characters that shares the element. However, Wonder's persona does not count so you need to have 2 out of three of your party members with the same element.
