Ann is currently the best Fire unit in the game, and is highly recommended to pick up as the free 5-star character. With a team built around her, she can blitz new accounts through the early stages of the game, and can still hold her own later on.

Panther's playstyle revolves around her managing her passive to get Passions stacks. Once it reaches 4 stacks, she entres La Vie en Rose, which grants some of her Fire abilities bonus effects.
This makes her extremely powerful against multiple enemies, especially when there is four of them in the battle. A single Crimson Rose will grant her an Atk boost, and 4 Passion Stacks for La Vie en Rose in one move.
Use Crimson Rose to Set Up La Vie en Rose
While building up enough Passion stacks to activate La Vie en Rose, use Crimson Rose to strengthen Panther. The skill provides a 2-turn attack buff.
La Vie en Rose Boosts Abilities
La Vie en Rose upgrade the skills of Panther for more damage. Carefully pick which skill to use depending on the situation.
Crimson Rose for Long Battles
When in La Vie en Rose state, Crimson Rose gain an additional effect of reducing the attack of the enemies. The attack of Panther also increases by the same amount.
If you are in a long battle, it is better to use Crimson Rose since it will help your party survive and the buffs will have a longer duration.
Trifire and Falling Sun for Burst Damage
If you want to put an end to the battle in one fell swoop, use either Trifire and Falling Sun depending on the situation. When in La Vie en Rose state, both skill gain additional damage.
However, Trifire only delivers bonus damage when the health of the target is below 50%.

Depending on whether you will use Panther to kill bosses or clear out multiple enemies, level up either Trifire or Falling Sun first. These two skills deal the most damage, especially when in La Vie en Rose state.
While you will use Crimson Rose more to buff your attacks, only the damage of the skill will go up and the buffs remain the same. You can level up Crimson Rose if you have extra materials.

A Mono Fire team with Key is currently the best setup for Panther. Key increases the Fire damage of his party, and a Mono Fire team also receives a 12% skill damage buff.
If you face enemies with Fire Resistance, Orobas can nullify it with his Fire Break skill. Afterwards, switch to a Persona that can either buff Panther or provide additional firepower.

You can also add Cattle to your line-up and serve as your healer. Since both he and Panther are Fire characters, they receive a 10% skill damage buff.
The inclusion of Cattle also gives you more freedom in picking the Persona for Wonder. You can pick another buffer to help Moko or a Tank to protect Panther.

Power is a good card set for Panther, especially in Boss Battles. The 4-Piece Set Effect provides an Attack buff every 6 turns, which helps during long battles.
While Power can only provide a maximum of 3 Attack buffs, Growth increases this limit to 5.
