Raga, the Sinner of Lust who takes on the appearance of Shadow Kamoshida, is the Palace Ruler you get to fight in the Crossroads of Fate event in Persona 5: The Phantom X! Check out how to beat this boss, including their resistances and phases of the fight, tips against this specific boss and the best team comp for this fight here!
List of Contents
| Enemy Level | Lv. 54 |
|---|---|
| Recommended Level | Lv. 57 |
| Safer Recommended Level | Lv. 60~65 |
The Raga fight recommends players to tackle this boss with a team that is at least Level 54. However, as the Crossroads of Fate get more difficult towards the end of the story, we highly recommend you get Wonder and his teammates to at least Level 60 instead.
Kamoshida Palace Puzzles and Walkthrough

Much like Shadow Kamoshida in Persona 5 and Persona 5 Royal, Raga has no weaknesses nor resistances.
He takes neutral damage to all affinities, which means players can bring any Phantom Thief for this boss fight.

For the most part, the Sinner of Lust does not have any special gimmicks. If anything, this version of the Shadow Kamoshida fight tries to be as faithful to the original boss fight as possible using the available mechanics in P5X.

Sinner of Lust | HP: 29,628 |
The first phase of the Raga fight is nothing special to take note of, other than the boss itself hitting quite hard.
As a precaution, keep Defense buffs up, and have constant heals and shields at the ready. This can take a while, given he has nearly 30000 HP in Phase 1 alone.

At the start of Phase 2, Raga will use his Crown's Shield ability to gain a shield to block part of the damage to his HP bar, as well as some buffs. This is further signified by two enemy icons visible instead of just one.
The boss gets access to his signature attack from the original boss fight: Gold Medal Spike. To move to Phase 3, defeat the Crown on his head that provides the aforementioned shield, and the ability to heal itself with Crown's Healing.

Once Raga's setting up for Gold Medal Spike, the game will warn you to brace for impact.
Put up Defense buffs and Shields while having the Phantom Thieves guard the attack to mitigate the damage; at this point of the boss fight, there is no way to stop this attack.

After defeating the crown, Phase 3 properly begins. This is marked by the two icons now going back to one: it's just Raga himself gone berserk.
This is the final stretch of the boss fight. Lower his HP as fast as you can while taking powerful hits to win the fight. You know you've done it when a cutscene involving Wonder's Team and the Phantom Thieves of Heart cooperating begins to play.

This is easily the best team comp you can build as of Version 1.1, and Raga is a good testing ground for it. Rin's debuffs can reduce the boss's defenses, letting Joker take advantage of Extra Action whenever he gets to trigger it.
As Wonder, you can help out by stacking Curses yourself. All the chipping done by the DoT effect of Curse stacks will add up. Marian and Puppet will be there to keep the team alive for as long as they can.

Players can take this boss fight as a stat check for some of their hardest hitters, so bring Assassins into the team. If you managed to get Mont and Fleuret at Awareness 6, they are their fullest potential, but before then they are pretty decent.
Wonder's Personas should match with the synergy for either of the two DPS units. As usual, Marian and Puppet will be the best teammates to keep the rest of the team alive.

Because of how hard Shadow Kamoshida will hit on occasion, it is highly inadvisable to run the Skull team comp. Some of the attacks from the boss can break through both Leon's and Puppet's shields, leaving your DPS in Skull in a very dangerous situation.
Still, if you do manage to set up correctly, including equipment, timing and buffing, his God Hand Burst can take a massive chunk off the boss.
It takes two turns for Skull to set up God Hand Burst. You have to finish Phase 1 of the boss fight first right as he finishes charging up the attack. Even better if you have his 5-star weapon Revenge Axe equipped to further boost the upcoming attack.
When done right, the combination of buffs from Leon and Wonder, alongside debuffs and chipped away health from Soy, will make Skull's attack will drop their HP from 100 to 0 in one shot.

Make sure that your team is not underleveled and under-equipped. Make sure to have your Phantom Thieves at least around the Minimum or Recommended Level for the boss fight.
Leveling Guide: How to Level Up Fast

At this point in the game, players need to have a couple of Revelation Cards equipped to each of the Phantom Thieves. The added stats from the main stat and substats will be of great help for damage checks and tanking damage.

Before you go into the fight, you could consume some of the home cooking Wonder makes in the kitchen. The food he makes will grant the team some buffs that will last for a certain number of battles. These include boss fights like in the Palace or in Mementos!
