Mail Rewards
You can get a lot of free items when you open the mail. You can get Tickets for pulling characters and weapons, upgrade materials, cosmetics, and other items.
Make sure to claim all of them before they expire or you won't be able to get them anymore!

Login Events
Logging in daily and after specific days will net you some free items from the Login Events. You might get Meta Jewels, upgrade materials, and other useful items from this.

Thieves' Alliance
Thieves' Alliance is part of the Take Your Heart event where you can get free rewards as you level up your account. You can get tons of Gold Tickets and some Platinum Milicoins from this.

Take Your Heart Newcomer Event: Content and Duration

You can get all these characters for free as you progress in the main story of P5X. You will get them as you go through the tutorials in the game.
You can also choose 2 free 5-Star characters after pulling 50 times the Newcomer Banner (Novice Thief Support) and completing the Lufel's Business Plan I.

You can get some free weapons from the story and Lufel's Business Plan. Progress through the story and try to clear Lufel's Business Plan missions as you go to get them fast.
You can select one from the three weapons after clearing Lufel's Business Plan II, while the other weapons are guaranteed rewards.
Weapon Selection Boxes
You can also choose any weapon you like from the free Weapon Selection Boxes in the game. These boxes ranges from 3-Star to 5-Star rarity.

You can get Janosik and Incubus during your progress in the main story. Leanan Sidhe can be obtained after completing the Step 2 of Lufel's Business Plan I.
Tutorial Meta Jewels
You can unlock tutorials as you unlock more content and game mechanics. You will get several Meta Jewels when you check them through the Tutorial menu for the first time.
