To defeat Daisoujou found in the Mementos of Persona 5: The Phantom X (P5X), consistently heal yourself up and focus on Onmoraki. Check out the essential details, including the weaknesses and resistances of Daisoujou and its notable attacks, as well as the best team composition here.
| Enemy Level | Lv. 74 |
|---|---|
| Recommended Level | Lv. 80 |
The Daisoujou fight is set at Level 74. However, it is highly recommended to tackle this boss with a team that is at least Level 80, and you have a fully built Assassin and Sweeper.
At this point, you should be fully building your Characters to 80. However, this fight is doable even if your Characters are Lv. 70, if you sequence and prioritize the right calls during the fight against Daisoujou.
Leveling Guide: How to Level Up Fast

There are two different locations to fight Daisoujou found in the 3rd Area of Path of Chemda. Each one has its own gimmick, so make sure to take note of which one is located where before fighting.

Daisoujou generally cannot be attacked and must instead be healed to full health, but the Onmoraki that come along with him have a weakness to Ice. While Sarasvati may nullify Ice, she is not supposed to be killed as she heals Daisoujou.

At the beginning, Daisoujou asks that you put an end to his grievances. The main goal of this fight is not to kill Daisoujou, but instead to heal him to full HP. Sarasvati herself heals Daisoujou, but Onmoraki will continue to attack him.
Each turn order, Daisoujou will spawn both of them, so only focus your offense on Onmoraki. With these in mind, it would be wiser to bring an Assassin for this fight!
If you can stack at least two to three Sarasvati on the field, you are generally guaranteed victory, as three consecutive heals cover half of Daisoujou's health.

Like the first fight, the Onmoraki will continue to damage Daisoujou while continuing to summon one every time it reaches its turn. However, the fight itself starts with four Onmoraki, and there will be no Sarasvatis that spawn.
It is crucial in the first turn to remove most of the Onmoraki to even have a chance to finish this fight. If you can clear them, it becomes more manageable since Daisoujou only summons one per turn.
Again, Daisoujou needs to be healed up to full to finish the fight. However, to heal himself, Daisoujou uses Sokushin to sap both the health and SP of your team, scaling off of max HP and SP. To quicken the battle, have a steady means of healing, and have high HP units to quickly fill Daisoujou's health.
While unconventional, you can also use SP and HP recovery items to fill up your reserves so that Daisoujou heals for more.

Since you will mainly be taking care of single-target units, a Nuke team that is supported by Marian should be your best bet to clear Daisoujou! These are their roles during a battle:
As for Wonder, he will prime the damage of Queen with Bishamonten's Tower of Purification, and occasionally use Marakunda on targets with Surt. Additionally, Wonder has Titania for additional healing if needed!

If you are on a budget and have no Queen, an Ice team that uses Mont while supported by Morgana and Chord should be your best bet to clear Daisoujou! These are their roles during a battle:
As for Wonder, he will help with Ice damage using Yamata-no-Orochi's Raging Blizzard, and occasionally use Marakunda on targets with Surt. Additionally, Wonder has Lakshmi for additional healing if needed!

Make sure that your team is not underleveled and under-equipped for the Path of Aiyatsbus. Make sure to have your Phantom Thieves at least around the Minimum or Recommended Level for the boss fight.
Leveling Guide: How to Level Up Fast

Before you head into the fight, remember to adjust your team comp properly as well as their turn order! The game will even bring you to the Team screen just before the boss fight properly begins.
Make sure to bring the right people for the job. Otherwise, the fight will be a lot harder before you realize you are using the wrong team.

Before you go into the fight, you could consume some of the home cooking Wonder makes in the kitchen. The food he makes will grant the team some buffs that will last for a certain number of battles. These include boss fights like in the Palace or in Mementos!
