Rin is the best debuffer on launch, with her on-demand defense reduction being universal. She can debuff enemies with Forget, which locks them out of their Skills for 1-2 turns. This also means heals, buffs and debuffs they cast are all blocked, and she can increase the success rate of landing the Forget ailment with her Meng Po Soup.
Yaoling Li shows up in the Metaverse as Rin in the Metaverse. They do not have powers to wield a Persona, but they still assist Wonder and his team as they descend down Mementos.

| Tips on Using Rin |
|---|
| ✓ Focus on Speed ✓ Start with Underworld Ferry ✓ Inflict Forget on Enemies ✓ Priority Skills |
| Benefits of Speed for Rin |
|---|
| ✓ Grants Memory stacks at the start of the battle ✓ Increases Rin's attack ✓ Increases debuffs inflicted by skills |
Rin needs Memory and Meng Po Soup stacks to unleash her full potential. The more Speed she has, the faster she can gain Memory and Meng Po Soup stacks.
Her Speed also affects the Defense Down debuffs from her skills.
Depending on her Speed, Rin can gain up to 18 Memory stacks at the start of her turn. Use Underworld Ferry to gain additional Memory stacks and bring down the Defense of your enemies.
Once you have enough Memory stacks to gain Meng Po Soup, use Flowers of Naihe or Lion Dance of Obilivion to their full effect.
Flowers of Naihe becomes more effective if the enemy suffers from a spiritual ailment like Forget. Players can use Rin's Highlight to inflict Forget on enemies before using Flowers of Naihe.
| Priority | Skill |
|---|---|
| 1 | |
| 2 | |
| 3 | |
| 4 | |
It is better for players to focus on building Rin's Speed if you want to feel the power of her skills. Only the damage and the debuff cap of her skills go up per level. If Rin's speed is lackluster, you will only feel a small difference between a Level 1 skill and a Level 10 skill.
If you have at least 170 speed, focus on building Lion Dance of Oblivion to increase the damage taken by your foes. You will also want to upgrade Thief Tactics to increase the damage of her Highlight, while also increasing the damage taken by your enemies.
