Fortune Telling is a rare activity where you can get random effects in the City Life in Persona 5: The Phantom X (P5X). Learn how Fortune Telling works, its rewards, and how to unlock it in this guide!
How Does Fortune Telling Works?
Select as a City Life Activity
You can only do the Fortune Telling activity once it appears on your City Life menu. Once it's there, tap or click it to start the activity.
You may have to spend days or even weeks just to see this activity, as it is a rare occurrence, so be patient!
Choose One from a Set of Cards
Get your fortune read by Chihaya Mifune and select one of the cards from the set. You can only choose one and the effect you will get is random.
Receive the Bonus Effect
Once you've selected, you will then get your the effect from the card. The effects you can get here should help you increase your Social Stat or Synergy quickly.

How to Unlock Fortune Telling
Unlocked During Outcome of Pride
You can unlock the Fortune Telling during the Outcome of Pride main quest, specifically when the objective tells you to go to the Ramen Shop. You will be called by the Fortune Teller (Chihaya Mifune) on the side of the street and talk to you.
You will get a Lucky Emote from that encounter. After that, you can wait for the Fortune Telling activity to appear on your City Life and do its tutorial mission.

Fortune Telling is a City Life Activity that appears randomly and rarely in the game. It consumes 1000 Money and 1 Action Point if decided to do it.
No Specific Schedule
There is no specific schedule where the Fortune Telling activity will appear. You will have to be patient and play every day for a chance to do it.
