Fox’s playstyle is rather intriguing as an Ice Sweeper, as all his skills scale off of his Defense stat. He also gets stronger when given a shield, and Keen Eye will turn his single-target Counterattack into a multi-hit attack. The taunt lets him support the team, but he needs to survive in order to properly counterattack. He may require specific teammates to be great, but he does his job well on his own as a Defense-based DPS.

Fox's playstyle is staightforward as a Sweeper with Frozen Presence and Bone-Chilling Cold.

However, what truly makes him unique is his Counter follow-up attack in his Resonance, and his Keen Eye skill.

Activate Keen Eye ASAP

Make sure to use Yusuke's Keen Eye as soon as its available, whether on the first turn or on cooldown. Not only does it taunt the enemies to attack him instead for two turns, for one instance it changes his single-target Counter hit into a multi-target Counter hit.

Keen Eye has a 1 turn cooldown upon usage, meaning players cannot activate this Skill consecutively. Players will have to manage the usage of Keen Eye, then attack with his other skills.

Players must keep in mind that Keen Eye only transforms Yusuke's Inspiration Counter into Imagination for one instance.

After it's used, players must first wait out the one-turn cooldown before they can use the skill again to turn it into Imagination Counter.

Keep Yusuke Shielded

Make sure to bring a character that grants Shield whenever you field Yusuke into the fight. On top of Keen Eye granting a taunt to proc the Counter Resonance, Yusuke has a different skill that also gets buffed should he have a shield upon using it.

Out of all the skills, have Keen Eye be the priority to get to higher levels. Keen Eye will boost the Counter damage based on a percentage of his Defense, gains a shield an additional Fire resistance and immunity to Spiritual Ailments.

Bone-Chilling Cold is next because of the shield bonus, then Thief Tactics for increased damage on his Highlight attack. You can leave Frozen Presence last since most of the time, you'll be using Bone-Chilling Cold as his attack..

As an Ice team, Fox and Mont will trigger the Ice Harmony to boost their Ice damage. Yusuke can set up first with Keen Eye, while Kotone can begin dealing damage and kickstart her passive stacking to trigger her Blade Dancer follow-up attack.

Marian is the resident Medic, and Puppet is a must-have Navigator to run with Yusuke to boost Bone-Chilling cold. Wonder can serve as the Strategist, Saboteur or Guardian to support the team.

Fox has an interesting synergy with characters that grand shields, like Leon and Puppet. His Bone-Chilling Cold skill does not specify where the shield has to come from, and simply says the buff will work once he gets a shield. With this team, you are going to stack shields on Fox as for as long as you can.

Leon can provide additional buffs with his shield, while Puppet can boost the attack and regenerate SP for him to be able to keep attacking. Chord can make him use Fox's highlights more often, letting him counterattack even more often. Wonder can work as a sub-DPS with Ice, Nuclear or Psychic Personas, or as the resident Medic to trigger the Harmonies.

As Yusuke wants to deal as much damage as possible with Ice attacks, including his Counter follow-ups from his Resonance, Opulence and Meditation are the best Revelation Cards to give him.

Opulence boosts his Ice damage, while Meditation can make his Resonance hit harder if it ever crits.

A sweeper normally favors offensive stats to boost their damage, which would make Growth + Power a good choice. However, Yusuke's skills all scale with Defense. Hence, our second recommended set of Revelation Cards are Peace and Faith.

A full set of Peace cards boosts the Defense stat by a good margin, as well as all shields Fox receives from allies. Once complete, Faith will be able to boost its Defense every time a shield is granted to Yusuke, further increasing his skills' firepower.
