Summer Moko can be considered as a hyperaggressive Medic, as she needs to do damage in order to provide heals to the team via Spark stacks to use Summer Reminiscence. Her playstyle now is a much-needed upgrade compared to her original version. She works great on all team comps, but will be at her best alongside Tropical Motoha.

For Seaside Tomoko's skill rotation, you need to use Hale Summer Days before the DPS character's turn to buff their attack and start stacking sparks. Lastly, use either Sparkling Memories for multi-target fights to increase the damage taken of the enemies and continue stacking sparks or Have a Cold Drink if there is only one enemy.
Her buffs and debuffs only lasts two turns therefore she can only rotate two skills to refresh it every other turn.
To get started with Seaside Tomoko's game plan, use Hale Summer Days on your DPS character such as Tropical Motoha or Fleuret to begin stacking sparks during their turn. Preferably, you need to use a skill that hits the enemy as each instance of damage inflict a stack of sparks.
Once you inflicted 3 stacks of sparks on an enemy, S. Moko will activate a resonance to consume the sparks stacks and deal psychic damage to all enemies and heal the party based on how many sparks were spent.
If you are up against multiple enemies, use Sparkling Memories to increase the damage taken of the enemies. It also helps inflict more spark stacks if your DPS hits all enemies.
If you are up against a single enemy, use Have a Cold Drink to deal more damage and inflict more sparks as it hits a total of 4 times resulting to immediate activation of resonance after her turn.

Sparkling Memories and Hale Summer Days are the best skills to max out. These two skills are the only ones S. Moko will use no matter what party member or enemies she face. Have a Cold Drink can stay at level 8 but if you have spare resources then you can max it to increase the damage and healing of the resonance.
You can leave Thief Tactics at the minimum level since you will not be using it frequently.

Seaside Tomoko is easy to build as she requires little mandatory stats to reach her full potential. As none of the card sets fit her, we suggest to use Trust and Prosperity as a general card set to have for characters that support the team and get a moon card that has HP Recovery as the main stat. However, only use this set if no other character in the party has Trust and Prosperity.

If you have someone in your party already using Trust and Prosperity card set such as Chord. Use Departure and Prosperity instead to buff the party damage after S. Moko attacks. Keep the moon card main stat as HP Recovery.

Fully building around Tropical Motoha requires a team that can provide buffs to her HP and constantly keep her health tapped out! These are the chosen characters and their roles during a battle:
As for Wonder, he will first increase Tropical Motoha's HP with Lakshmi, and the buff her damage up using Dominion and Dionysus.

If you were not able to get the premium characters stated above, Fleuret works well with S. Moko to help activate her sparks resonance every turn while providing healing to the party for survivavilty. Riddle is here to provide more attack and damage buffs with the addition of her being Psychic element to activate the Harmony.
As for Wonder, he will first try to inflict Windswept using Norn then switch to Dionysus to provide critical rate and damage buffs to Fleuret then Dominion for the attack buffs.

You can pull for Seaside Tomoko if you do not have Marian. However, S. Moko is not essential if you have Marian as she is enough to work well with Tropical Motoha.
However, if you find her interesting or you already have Marian in your yeam, you can wait for the upcoming Physical Assassin Phantom Idol with Messa as S. Moko works perfectly well with her. In the end, pull for the characters that you want, and you will enjoy playing.

The summer variant of Tomoko Noge, or better known as S. Moko, was released on Version 2.2 update of P5X, which was on October 9, 2025 after the end of Chord's banner.
