For the Sinners of Vanity and Gluttony, the level of the boss monster will be determined based on the Distortion Level set before the fight begins.
The lowest Distortion Level is Lv. 1, which sets the boss to Level 26. The highest the event can go is Distortion Lv. 30, which puts Irshya over the level cap at Level 84.
Irshya Weaknesses and Resistances
The Shadow Kaneshiro boss is made up of two phases: his base form and Piggytron mode. Your main goal is to defeat his base form by dismantling him from his Piggytron mode. Generally, he has no weaknesses, so having a team centered around single-target damage will be key here!

Irshya is a Limited-Time Boss Fight
The Sinners of Vanity and Gluttony are part of the second Crossroads of Fate event, where they can be fought as a special limited-time boss. These boss fights are split into 30 different levels; the higher the number, the more difficult the boss fight.
Try to beat the boss on higher difficulties to earn as many rewards as you can!
Try to Clear Level 25
There are 30 levels of difficulty to go up against Irshya, but it is highly suggested to go up to Level 25. While the boss might be quite difficult at that level, you get an exclusive Icon Frame for your in-game profile upon clearing it.
Clearing Distortion Lv. 25 will also unlock Stamina Mode, where players can start to farm event-exclusive currency!

How to Beat Irshya
Special Buffs Depending on Distortion Level
If you're fighting Irshya through the Sinners of Vanity and Gluttony event, there are Special Effects that activate depending on the chosen Distortion Level. The higher the Distortion Level, the stronger the buffs obtained by Irshya, and the effects will stack the higher you go.

| 5th Buff | Active starting Distortion Lv. 20 Guards' HP is greatly increased. |
| 6th Buff | Active starting Distortion Lv. 25 At the end of Piggytron's turn, effects gained from Berserk are increased. |
| 7th Buff | Active starting Distortion Lv. 28 All foes' Defense is increased by 20%. |

Clear the Sturdy Guards for Money
In the first phase, Irshya will begin hiring Sturdy Guards by spending Money. During this time, Irshya will be resistant to all damage as long as the Sturdy Guard is alive. Quickly dispatch of these guards using your Assassin to remove his resistances and gain Money.
Funnel Money to a Single Character
During the first few turns fighting Irshya, have your Assassin finish off the Sturdy Guards so that all of the Counterfeit Bills will be funnelled to them. Doing so allows you to prepare for the Piggytron phase and avoid having to be hit by a transitional big attack.
Have Alert Capsule or Marian to Cure Sleep
During Irshya's turn, he will try to summon a Sturdy Guard and use Lullaby to put your characters to sleep. To avoid having to skip a turn, always keep an Alert Capsule at hand or have Marian clear the status ailment!
Use Buffs to Transfer Money
After Piggytron does its attack, it will give out Counterfeit bills to any of your characters randomly to suck the money back and fuel its next attack, with four gained allowing the use of March of the Piggy. To avoid this, you can transfer the money to your Assassin by buffing them.
Oftentimes, this will either be done by Wonder, a Medic, or a Strategist. This would be the main reason that it is only recommended to fight this boss with a team centered around one DPS!
Guard During March of the Piggy
If left with no choice and all of your characters have at least 1 stack of Counterfeit Bills, it is paramount to have them take the Guard action next turn, as Irshya will begin revving up his March of the Piggy. However, if you are confident enough to risk bursting and finishing the fight, you can entirely skip the Guard!
How to Guard and Increase Defense
End the Fight Quickly
When Irshya enters his Piggytron form, each turn he attacks will cause him to build more Berserk stacks, increasing his attack by a significant amount each time. Having teams that are built around longevity and sustain will suffer the most, so design a team around pure damage and buffs!

If you were able to get your hands on Queen after Version 1.3 came out, then the Sinner of Gluttony event should be easy! The premium team to fight Irshya is composed of Queen, Vino, Leon, and Okyann! These are their roles during the battle:
- Queen: She will be your primary DPS, capable of high single-target burst damage.
- Vino: She sets up Queen's damage by inflicting multiple elemental ailments.
- Leon: He allows Queen to deal an absurd amount of damage with his single-target buffs.
- Okyann: Massively buffs damage against enemies with Elemental Ailments
As for Wonder, he will also buff up Queen by giving her additional critical hit rate with Rebellion and reducing Irshya's defense with Marakunda using Surt. He will also act as the healer by utilizing Titania, allowing him to set up elemental ailments while healing as well!

If you were able to get your hands on Ryuji either as your 5-star choice or reward from the Starter Banner, he should suffice as a free-to-play (F2P) alternative for Irshya! The F2P team to fight Irshya is composed of Skull, Soy, Leon, and Puppet! These are their roles during the battle:
- Skull: He will be your primary DPS with Godhand Burst.
- Soy: He lowers the defense of Irshya while providing protection.
- Leon: He single-handedly activates Skull's primary condition by converting his HP into a Barrier, activating Skull's Rebound!
- Puppet: Additional barrier support to divert the AoE damage of Piggytron.
As for Wonder, he will act as a means of setting up Skull by buffing his damage with Tarukaja using Koumokuten and weakening Irshya with Marakunda using Surt. He will also act as an additional means of gaining shield with Norn's Wind Barrier!
General Tips vs. Irshya
Match the Level According to Distortion Level
Make sure that your team is not underleveled and under-equipped. Have your Phantom Thieves at least around the Minimum or Recommended Level for the boss fight.
Just make sure to check on the Distortion Levels before the boss fight. Players can check the level and active buffs Irshya will have!

Equip and Level Revelation Cards
At this point in the game, players need to have a couple of Revelation Cards equipped to each of the Phantom Thieves. The added stats from the main stat, the substats after being leveled, and the passives that go active will be of great help for damage checks and tanking damage.
Activate Food Buffs
Before you go into the fight, you could consume some of the home cooking Wonder makes in the kitchen. The food he makes will grant the team some buffs that will last for a certain number of battles. These include boss fights like in the Palace or in Mementos!
