Equip Weapons and Revelation Cards
You can increase the stats of your characters when you equip them with Weapons and Revelation Cards. Weapons will be available during the tutorial, but the Revelation Cards will only unlock once you reach Level 35.
Note that all characters can equip Revelation Cards except Wonder.

Use Weapon Selection Boxes
Don't hesitate to use the Weapon Selection Boxes you get from Missions, Events, and other game modes to help your character get better weapons.
Upgrade Thieves' Den
You can get tons of stat boosts from the Thieves' Den. You can get these stat boosts by increasing the Qevel and purchasing different collection items. You will need P Medals, which you can get in the same area, to buy collections in Thieves' Den.
Increase Wonder's Stats (Wonder Only)
You can Increase the Wonder's Stats through the Phantom Thieves menu. You will need to accumulate Schema Points and Schema Points+ to upgrade his stats.
You can get Schema Points by unlocking new Personas through Realm of Repression or Fusion. Schema Points+ are obtained by clearing Velvet Trial Stages.

Equip Personas (Wonder Only)
You can equip different Personas to Wonder to increase his stats and allow him to be flexible in different situations. He will inherit the stats from each of the Personas equipped.

Use Skills to Increase Stats
Some skills can provide buffs that will boost a character's stats for a few turns. Strategists and Elucidators are the ones with the most skill buffs in the game.

Cook and Eat Food
You can get temporarily stat boosts from consuming specific food. Unlock different Recipes and buy the necessary Ingredients to create them in your kitchen at hoome.

Basic Abilities
| Stats | Effects |
|---|---|
| Attack | Affects the overall damage. |
| Defense | Affects the overall damage taken. |
| HP | Determines the exact HP of a character. |
| SP | Tells how much SP a character has. Consumed when using a skill. (100 by default) |
| Speed | Determines how fast you can get to your next turn and the accuracy of your attacks. (100 by default) |

| Crit Rate | Determines how often you can hit enemies with a critical. |
| Crit Multiplier | Determines the damage of a critical hit. |
| SP Recovery | Determines how much SP you can recover per turn. |
| Down Points | Determines how fast you can knock down an enemy. |
| Ailment Accuracy | Shows the chance of applying a Status Ailment on enemies. |
| Attack Multiplier | Indicates the attack boost your character has. |
| Damage Down | Indicates the damage you can inflict if the enemy is downed. |
| Weakness Multiplier | Indicates the damage boost when attacking enemies with their weakness. |
| Weak Attack Down | Determines the damage when attacking enemies with their weakness while downed. |
| Resistance Pierce Rate | Indicates the chance to pierce through enemy resistance. |
| Strong Attack Down | Determines the damage when attacking enemies with an Affinity they are strong against while downed. |
| HP Recovery | Tells how much HP you can give to others. |
| HP Recovery Taken | Indicates the amount of HP you receive. |
| Shield | Indicates the strength of the shield you can produce. |
| Shield Received | Indicates the strength of the shield you receive. |

| Electric Mutiplier | Adds more damage to your Electric Attacks. |
| Wind Mutiplier | Adds more damage to your Wind Attacks. |
| Pys Mutiplier | Adds more damage to your Psy Attacks. |
| Nuclear Mutiplier | Adds more damage to your Nuclear Attacks. |
| Bless Mutiplier | Adds more damage to your Bless Attacks. |
| Curse Mutiplier | Adds more damage to your Curse Attacks. |
| Almighty Mutiplier | Adds more damage to your Almighty Attacks. |
Melee and Ranged
| Stats | Effects |
|---|---|
| Melee Attack | Deals Physical Damage. (90% by default). |
| Ranged Attack | Deals Gun damage. Has Damage multiplier, Rounds, Accuracy, and separate Crit Rate. |
Stats Explained
Dictates the Strength of Characters
Stats, like in other video games, dictates the current strength of your characters. One of the main focus in P5X is to increase the characters' stats so they can perform well wherever they are needed.
You can increase the stats by equipping better gear and doing other contents in the game to acquire materials for upgrading.
