Atavaka's general weakness is the Electricity Affinity while being resistant to Physical, Gun, Fire, and Curse affinities. Furthermore, Atavaka's clones will also share this weakness, meaning that the Soul Link between them will rack up high damage numbers.

If you were able to get your hands on Bui on her latest banner, the Atavaka fight should be cleared quickly as its special effects perfectly coincide with Bui. This team is composed of Bui, Closer, Moko, and Okyann! These are their roles during the battle:
- Bui: She will be your primary DPS, dealing solitary Electric damage through her follow-ups as an Assassin.
- Closer: She will be responsible for inflicting Shock while being the Player 2 of Bui.
- Moko: Further increases the single-target damage of Bui.
- Okyann: Provides additional support by increasing the party's damage as Shock will have a 100% uptime.
For Wonder, equip him with Yurlungur and Koumokuten as an additional means of increasing damage. Additionally, having Sarasvati should ensure the survivability of your team! Janosik is included to easily answer the Rakshasas.

Choose an Assassin that Exploits Electricity
Atavaka is weak to Electric Damage and has a special effect that increases the damage dealt by an Assassin. When this is paired alongside the innate increase to Electric Damage, you will surely rack up a significant amount of points!
Choose a Character With Follow-ups
Additionally, Resonance attacks, also known as follow-up attacks, have a 50% increase to their damage. While not optimal, this means you can attempt this fight using Montagne as your main DPS instead of Bui!

Defeat the Rakshasas
Generally, Atavaka will be alone, but will build up Marks if you hit him with elemental attacks. Upon reaching three marks of the same element, he will summon a Rakshasa that buffs him with Tarukaja and is weak to Bless.
However, if you defeat these summons, the corresponding element used to summon them will increase for the remainder of the fight. If you can stack multiple of these buffs, it will drastically increase your point gain before reaching his Weakened State.
To do so, simply try to survive multiple turns and hit him with low-damage Electricity skills. Do keep in mind that he will summon only up to a maximum of two, so you will need to defeat at least one so he can summon another one.
Increase Critical Damage
While you cannot critically hit due to the special effect, your damage will increase if you buff your critical damage rate and multiplier. Bui naturally stacks on these stats, so exploit it!
To increase your critical hit rate, consider teaching Personas the Revolution skill. Furthermore, you can also increase Wonder's innate critical hit rate and multiplier by spec'ing into it!
