The first three columns of the Skills menu focus on DK’s base skills. The fourth, fifth, and sixth columns enhance his different Bananza Powers.

Base Skills

Skill Description Skill Points Required
Health Lv 1 Health Increases your maximum health. 1
Apple Juice Lv 1 Apple Juice Increases the maximum number of Apple Juice cans you can carry. 3
Melon Juice Lv 1 Melon Juice Increases the maximum number of Apple Juice cans you can carry. 2
Bananergy Lv 1 Bananergy Increases the duration of Bananzas. 1
Drumbeat Lv 1 Drumbeat Reduces the amount of time you must hold L+R to activate a Bananza with your drumbeat. 1
Punch Power Lv 1 Punch Power Reduces the number of punches needed to smash through terrain. 2
Better Collecting Lv 1 Better Collecting Increases your Hand Slap's range, allowing you to collect gold by pressing R from farther away. 1
Better Sonar Lv 1 Better Sonar Increases your Hand Slap's sonar range, allowing you to detect hidden items with R from farther away. 2
Charge Slap Charge Slap Clear away stray chunks of terrain by holding R before releasing it. 2
Spin Jump Spin Jump Rotate the Left Analog Stick, then press A to perform a spinning attack as you jump. 2
Jump Shot Jump Shot Using a held chunk to do a double jump by pressing A then A again will fire the chunk below you and impact the ground. 1
Better Turf Surfing Better Turf Surfing While Turf Surfing with ZL, the chunks of terrain you ride on will dissolve at a slower rate. 3
Surf Surf Surf Surf Enhance your Turf Surfing skills so you can skim over bodies of water by pressing ZL while holding a chunk. 4

The first column improves DK’s durability and survivability. It includes skills that boost max health, expand inventory space, and improve the initiation and duration of his Bananza Forms.

The second column strengthens DK’s impact on the world around him. These upgrades include more powerful punches to break terrain, and enhanced Hand Slaps that improve detection and collection of nearby resources.

The third column adds effects to DK’s moves. These include letting a Chunk Jump deal damage beneath him, making Turf Surf last longer, and even letting DK skim over water.

Kong Bananza Skills

Skill Description Skill Points Required
Charge Punch Lv 1 Charge Punch Boosts the range of destruction when you do a Charge Punch by holding Y during Kong Bananza transformations. 1
Fast Charge Lv 1 Fast Charge Reduces the amount of time you must hold Y to perform a Charge Punch during Kong Bananza transformations. 1
Kong Armor Kong Armor Prevents flinching when attacked while holding Y for a Charge Punch. 3
Golden Punch Golden Punch Fully chared punches will change the surrounding terrain into pure gold. 5

The fourth column boosts DK’s skills in his Kong Bananza form. This transformation focuses on raw power, and the upgrades push his punches even further. Each one improves the strength and speed of his Charge Punches.

How to Unlock Kong Bananza Form

Zebra Bananza Skills

Skill Description Skill Points Required
Brake Blast Lv 1 Brake Blast Sends out a destructive shock wave when you brake by suddenly tilting the Left Analog Stick in the opposite direction of your movement. 1
Charge Dash Lv 1 Charge Dash Holding and releasing ZL will keep you Charge Dashing for a bit longer. 1
Spin Slam Spin Slam Perform a destructive spinning attack with a held chunk by holding Y while rotating the Left Analog Stick 2
Spin Shot Spin Shot Rotate the Left Analog Stick and press ZR to hurl a held chunk that can smash through most terrain. 3
Golden Dash Golden Dash Brake Blasts and Charge Dashes will change the surrounding terrain into pure gold. 5

DK’s Zebra Bananza skills focus on enhancing his speed and maneuverability, making it easier to dash, jump, and weave through obstacles more efficiently.

Ostrich Bananza Skills

Glide Lv 1 Glide Glide through the air by continuing to hold ZL after fluttering. 1
Better Flutter Better Flutter Fly faster and farther while holding ZL to Flutter 2
Egg Bomb Lv 1 Egg Bomb Drop an Egg Bomb below you by pressing ZR in midair. You can stock only one egg behind you at a time. 1
Golden Egg Bomb Golden Egg Bomb Egg Bombs will change the surrounding terrain into pure gold on impact. 5

DK's Ostrich Bananza skills revolve around improving the Ostrich form's flight duration, as well as increasing the quantity of Egg Bombs this form can produce.

How to Unlock Ostrich Bananza Form

Elephant Bananza Skills

Skill Description Skill Points Required
Trunk Room Trunk Room Allows you to store up to 10 chunks of terrain when inhaling by holding ZR. 2
Better Inhaling Lv 1 Better Inhaling Increases the range and distance of terrain that you can inhale by holding ZR. 2
Stronger Lungs Lv 1 Stronger Lungs Increases the amount of time that you can continually inhale by holding ZR. 1
Quick Storage Quick Storage Allows you to store chunks of terrain more quickly while you inhale by holding ZR. 2
Golden Vacuum Golden Vacuum Inhale for extended periods to change the surrounding terrain into pure gold. 5

DK’s Elephant Bananza skills are all about maximizing terrain manipulation through inhaling. These upgrades let you inhale chunks from farther away, hold more chunks at once, and inhale continuously for longer periods.

Snake Bananza Skills

Skill Description Skill Points Required
Jump Burst Jump Burst Doing a Charge Jump by holding A will cause damage as you launch. 1
Better Glare Lv 1 Better Glare The slow motion caused by holding Y to Glare will last longer. 1
Better Charge Jump Better Charge Jump Perform a Charge Jump by holding A on the ground or in midair. 3
Meteor Punch Meteor Punch After holding A to do a Charge Jump, hold B to do a Dive Punch and create an impact crater in the ground. 3
Golden Jump Golden Jump Jump Bursts and Meteor Punches will change the surrounding terrain into pure gold. 5

DK’s Snake Bananza skills focus on amplifying the power and utility of Charge Jumps and Glare attacks. With Better Charge Jump, you can launch yourself from the ground or midair, and Jump Burst turns that launch into a damaging attack.

Heh seems like there are more skill points required to max out than Banananium gems in the game. So you'll have to buy extras at the medal shop to max out all your skills, which qill take quite a bit of grinding as it's 5 B Gems per skill point and the final skills require 5 skill points each, for 25 bananas, but if you get every banana there should be only 2 more skills left. Still that's 50 gems or 5000 coins....
