To perform a Dive Punch, press the B button while Donkey Kong is in the air. This will make DK crash onto the terrain and dig a hole straight down.

This movement is useful to quickly burrow through an area without digging normally.

DK's Dive Punch can help you dig into the ground as you land from the air to check for collectibles or get gold that is buried underground.

How low DK can punch through depends on the terrain. For example, punching through dirt will bring DK deeper, while punching through stones will only make a shallow hole.
