Donkey Kong Changing at the Closet

You can change Donkey Kong and Pauline's outfits using closets, which are found in Getaways and near Style Shops. For Donkey Kong, you can change its Neckwear, Fur Color, and Britches. As for Pauline, you can only change her entire outfit, not individual pieces of clothing like Donkey Kong.

You can buy clothes for Donkey Kong and Pauline at Style Shops. There are style shops in each layer, and the outfits available in those shops depend on the layer.

Requires Specific Fossils to Buy

Clothing Items.png

Each outfit requires a specific type fossil to buy, and since each layer has a different set of fossils available, the prices of the outfits is locked to the fossils in the layer.

Additionally, outfits that can be leveled up will have their price increased per level.

Apart from changing their appearance, outfits give Donkey Kong and Pauline bonus effects when equipped. You can mix and match each piece of clothing to give Donkey Kong and Pauline unique sets of effects, which can be useful for adjusting your playstyle.

Fur Color Gives No Effects

Fur Color

Fur Color doesn't give any effects nor buffs, and is purely cosmetic.

Some Can Be Leveled Up

There are some pieces of clothing that you can level up. You can only buy the leveled-up version of a clothing by first buying it at a lower level.
