Press NSW - R

Press the R button to perform a Hand Slap. This will make Donkey Kong slam his hands to the ground and send out a wave that can collect items around him or locate buried items on the ground or in walls.

Controls and Movement

Can Be Used While Hanging

You can also use this move while hanging from ceilings. DK will slap his feet which will also send out a wave that collects items. This is useful if you want an easier time collecting while you are hanging down.

Hand Slap Effects

Collect Scattered Items

DK's Hand Slap sends out a wave that collects scattered gold and Banandium Chips around him. These items tend to scatter while you are exploring, so this can be an easy way to collect them so you can run around less.

Use Sonar to Find Hidden Items

The wave from DK's Hand Slap also acts as a sonar that locates and highlights items buried on the ground or in walls. If you find something that is out of place, chances are there is something hidden inside so use the Hand Slap to check!

Can Be Upgraded

Better Collecting Lv 1 Better Collecting Increases your Hand Slap's range, allowing you to collect gold by pressing R from farther away. 1
Better Collecting Lv 2 Better Collecting Increases your Hand Slap's range. 2
Better Collecting Lv 3 Better Collecting Increases your Hand Slap's range. 3

The Hand Slap move can be upgraded three times using Skill Points, which you will get as you collect Banandium Gems.

Upgrading this move will extend the range of the wave, letting you collect items further or seek out items that are further away.
