How to Spin

Rotate the Left Stick Quickly to Spin

Rotating the Left stick quickly will allow you to spin in place. If you hold a chunk of debris while spinning with the left stick, you can use it to whack away nearby enemies.

Controls and Movement

Hold Debris While Spinning to Deal Damage

If you spin while holding a chunk of debris, you can use it as a weapon to hit obstacles and enemies. This is especially useful if you are facing against multiple enemies at the same time.

Requires Upgrades to Unlock

Skill Description Skill Points Required
Spin Slam Spin Slam Perform a destructive spinning attack with a held chunk by holding Y while rotating the Left Analog Stick 2
Spin Shot Spin Shot Rotate the Left Analog Stick and press ZR to hurl a held chunk that can smash through most terrain. 3

Note that you need to unlock the Spin Slam and Spin Shot skills to unlock the ability to hurl a chunk while spinning.

Upgrade to Add Spin Jump Ability

Skill Description Skill Points Required
Spin Jump Spin Jump Rotate the Left Analog Stick, then press A to perform a spinning attack as you jump. 2

You can upgrade your Spin ability further when you choose to unlock the Spin Jump skill. This allows you to perform a spinning attack as you jump.
