You can fast travel to any area in Donkey Kong Bananza via Teeleporting with the underground Eels. Learn how to Teeleport and how to unlock checkpoints you can Teeleport to!

How to Fast Travel

Teeleport to Previously Visited Checkpoints from the Map Screen

If you ever find yourself lost or get yourself stuck, just press the Minus Button to open the map. You can then teleport to any Checkpoint, Warp Gong, and Getaway you have unlocked on the level you are currently in.

Move to Different Layers via Eelevator

If you want to change what layer or level you are in, you need to head to an Eelevator and ring the Warp Gong. These Subterranean Eels will take you to levels you have already completed or are currently completing.

How to Unlock Fast Travel Points

Clear Out any Checkpoints

DK Bananza - Checkpoint
Along the way, you can find tuning forks scattered throughout the underground. Make sure to clear out any debris and ring them as these serve as your checkpoints. They will be marked on your map with a Checkmark (✓) .

Unlock Warp Gongs

DK Bananza - Warp Gong
If you want to quickly move between layers you can also Fast Travel to any Warp Gongs in the stage you are in. They will be marked on your map with a circle surrounded by an arch.

Create Getaways With the Architectones

DK Bananza - Fast Travel Getaway
If you have the gold to build Getaways, these can also serve as Fast Travel Points. These will be marked on your map as a House.
