The best location to farm Water Terrain is in the Lagoon Layer in Donkey Kong Bananza. Find out where to find water terrain, how to break it fast, and how to complete Smashintone’s challenges.
List of Contents

Water terrain can be found in many layers throughout Donkey Kong Bananza, but Lagoon Layer is where it appears most prominently, especially near any waterfall area. These spots are perfect for completing Smashintone’s water challenge.
There’s no need to hunt for one exact location as any waterfall in this area will count.
The most efficient way to break water terrain is to transform into Kong Bananza and repeatedly punch upward at a waterfall. This will quickly rack up destruction points.

You can stay in Kong form longer by equipping certain skills or costumes. Boosting your transformation time increases your efficiency, so invest your skill points or fossils if you’ve got them to spare.

Even standing still under a waterfall will gradually count as water destruction.
It’s slower, but if you’re multitasking or feeling lazy, it’s a passive way to inch toward your goal.

You’ll find Smashintone’s water-breaking challenge in the Lagoon Layer (SL 100). To complete it, break a total of 5,000 m³ of water, easily done by repeatedly punching waterfalls or idling underneath them.
Once you’ve hit the required amount, return to Smashintone and claim your Banandium Gem as a reward!
