You'll need to punch the Trailfinoids to create a path towards the end of the course. Completing within the time limit will award you with a Banandium Gem.

Banandium Gem #2

Banandium Gem #2

A second Banandium Gem is awarded after completing the time trial with at least 20 seconds remaining.

Banandium Gem #3

Banandium Gem #3

The third Banandium Gem is located on top of a tower to right just before the exit area. Tear a chunk of the Liftoff Ore and use it to float up the top of the tower to get the third Banandium Gem.
