Find Dirt Terrain all over Landfill Layer in Donkey Kong Bananza. Find out where to find dirt terrain, how to break it fast, and how to complete Smashintone’s challenge.
List of Contents

The Landfill Layer is basically one giant swamp. Just about every sublayer here is covered in dirt terrain, making it the best place to farm dirt quickly. Dig in anywhere and you'll start racking up progress right away.
Transform into Kong Bananza and punch the dirt repeatedly. Punching through dirt terrain is fast and efficient, especially for mid-game players exploring the Landfill Layer.

You can stay in Kong form longer by equipping certain skills or costumes. Boosting your transformation time increases your efficiency, so invest your skill points or fossils if you’ve got them to spare.
Once you unlock Elephant Bananza in the Tempest Layer (SL 900), you can return to the Landfill Layer and use its suction ability to slurp up huge patches of dirt terrain at once. This is often faster than punching.
How to Unlock and Use Elephant Bananza Form

You’ll find this challenge near Trashtopia in the Landfill Layer. Smashintone wants you to break a whopping 70,000 m³ of dirt terrain, but with the right setup, it’s totally doable.
Use Kong Bananza or Elephant Bananza to clear big chunks quickly. Once you hit the target, return to Smashintone to claim your Banandium Gem.
