Obtain All 777 Banandium Gems
Reaching 100 percent completion requires obtaining all 777 Banandium Gems. Most of these are obtained as part of the main story or hidden in the layers while some require completing challenges, puzzles, and finding other collectibles.
Complete All 108 Challenge Ruins
There are 108 Challenge Ruins available to complete. Completing Challenge Courses give you three Banandium Gems while Battle Challenges only give one.

Complete the Bananza Rehearsals
Bananza Rehearsals are available challenge modes from the five elders and the Great Harmoneel once you reached post-game. Completing these Rehearsal Halls is required as they give Banandium Gems and unlocks the secret ending.
Complete Battle Rush and Boss Rush Modes
Battle Rush and Boss Rush modes are available from Grumpy Kong after paying 5000 Gold and 10000 Gold respectively. These are combat challenge modes that also give Banandium Gems upon completion.

Collect All 696 Fossils
Collecting all 696 Fossils is required for 100 percent completion. While the fossils let you unlock and upgrade outfits, collecting all of them gives you 1 Banandium Gem from Collectone at the Fossil Museum in Groove Layer after completing the main story.
Obtain All 110 Music Discs
There are 110 Music Discs to collect to reach 100 percent completion. These appear when an enemy drops it upon defeat, tipping Trustytone, and by popping all the balloons in the Rehearsal Halls.
Solve All Fractone Puzzles
You can find Fractone NPCs in layers that challenge you with a puzzle to solve or request help with. Completing their mini-quests rewards you with a Banandium Gem.
Optional: Get All Collectibles in DLC
The DK Island and Emerald Rush DLC is a paid add-on for Donkey Kong Bananza, which allows DK and Pauline to travel to DK Island and work with Void Kong in the game's roguelite mode called Emerald Rush.
New collectibles were added in the DLC and can be unlocked as you play through Emerald Rush

What Happens When You 100 Percent Donkey Kong Bananza?
3 Stars on Save File
You will receive 3 stars on your save file as a reward for completing Donkey Kong Bananza at 100 percent completion. This requires you to obtain all 777 Banandium Gems, 110 Music Discs, and more.
How to Get All Save File Stars
Secret Ending
Getting 100% also unlocks a secret ending which you'll obtain by going back to the Planet Core and making a wish at the Great Banandium Root.
Red Balloon Design Will Change to DK's Face
Upon 100% completion, the design of the Red Balloon will be based off Donkey Kong's face versus its clean and standard design. This balloon design is a reference to the 1-Up Balloons found in Donkey Kong Country.
To double check if your balloon's design changed, open up Photo Mode as you use a Red Balloon and rotate the camera at an angle where the balloon's face is visible.
