How to Return to Baboomtown

After finishing the game, head over to Ingot Isle and pay Grumpy Kong to restore Baboomtown in Donkey Kong Bananza. Find out how to return to Baboomtown, and what rewards you can get for getting back there!

Talk to Grumpy Kong in Ingot Isle After Finishing the Game

Speak to Grumpy Kong in Ingot Isle Cave-In

After finishing the game, head back to Ingot Isle Cave-In. There, you’ll find Grumpy Kong offering to rebuild Baboomtown for a price.

He’ll first offer to unlock Battle Rush, then Boss Rush, and finally the full Baboomtown restoration.

Grumpy Kong will unlock each upgrade in sequence, starting with Battle Rush, then Boss Rush, and finally the Baboomtown restoration itself.

You can’t skip ahead, so be ready to pay in full. The total Gold you'll need to have on hand is 135, 000 Gold.

Become invisible..but only to yourself. Enemies and friends will still see you.

After restoring Baboomtown Mine, talk to Grumpy Kong to receive the Invisibility Tie.

Equipping it will make Donkey Kong and Pauline invisible but only to you. Enemies and allies can still see you just fine.
