Where to Find Lava Terrain

Tempest Layer (SL 903): Sinkhole

Sinkhole SL903

If you want to destroy lava efficiently, head to the Tempest Layer (SL903) near the Sinkhole checkpoint. Lava spreads thick around the edges here, making it perfect for large-scale clearing.

Use Charge Punch or Suction for maximum lava-melting efficiency.

How to Break Lava Fast

Use Kong Bananza's Charge Punch

Transform into Kong Bananza and use a Charge Punch from a short distance.

Touching lava directly will cause knockback or damage, so attacking from range is the safest and fastest method.

Extend the Range of Charged Punch

Upgrade your Charge Punch skill in the Skill Tree to boost both range and efficiency.

Unlock Elephant Bananza first in this layer, and then use its suction ability to clear lava without taking damage or getting knocked back.

This can be even faster than the charge punch.

Smashintone Challenge Guide

Break 70,000 m³ of Lava in Tempest Layer

Tempest

Smashintone’s lava-breaking challenge appears in the Tempest Layer, near Jumbo Spa. You’ll need to destroy a total of 70,000 m³ of lava terrain.

With either Kong Bananza’s charge punch or Elephant Bananza’s suction, this challenge becomes very manageable. Once you’ve hit the total, head back to Smashintone to earn your Banandium Gem.
