Defeat the enemy henchmen roaming in the area so that you'll deal with fewer obstacles during the boss fight.

Avoid Target Markers From Incoming Ranged Attacks

Dodge the target markers shown on the surface to avoid Void Kong's ranged attacks in battle. His ranged attacks come in a variety, so you will have to pay close attention to the target markers to anticipate their trajectory.

Throw Chunks in the Air to Create an Ice Path

Throw chunks in the air to create an ice path that you can use to cross like a bridge. Follow the ice path, and simply throw other chunks to extend the path itself.

Throw Chunks Toward Void Kong

Throw chunks at Void Kong to stagger him. Once you've thrown enough chunks at him, he'll fly towards another area where you won't need the ice path to traverse.

Destroy the Shield Projectors
