You can stay in Kong form longer by equipping certain skills or costumes. Boosting your transformation time increases your efficiency, so invest your skill points or fossils if you’ve got them to spare.
Unlock Elephant Bananza in the Tempest Layer (SL 900), then head back to the Resort. Use its suction skill to pull up large patches of sand.
This method is often faster than Kong Bananza, especially for players in the late game.

Sand terrain does not respawn on its own. Once the area is cleared, open the map with the minus (-) button, then press the plus (+) button to reset.
Repeat the process to farm sand continuously.

Smashintone’s sand-breaking challenge is found in the Resort Layer, near Tropical Retreat. To complete it, destroy a total of 30,000 m³ of sand terrain.
Using Kong Bananza or Elephant Bananza will make this challenge fast and easy. Once you’ve hit the mark, return to Smashintone to claim your Banandium Gem.
