Unlocked at: Lagoon Layer (SL 100-102) Abilities ・Stronger punches can destroy hard terrain and armored enemies with ease. ・Charged punches can hit terrain and enemies in a straight line ahead. |

Unlocked at: Freezer Layer (SL 500-503) Abilities ・Dashes allows for faster movement. ・Can run on thin ice that would instantly break normally. |
 Ostrich Bananza |
Unlocked at: Forest Layer (SL 600-602) Abilities ・Can ride updrafts and flutter for several meters. ・Egg bombs can destroy terrain and enemies on impact. |
 Elephant Bananza |
Unlocked at: Tempest Layer (SL 900-902) Abilities ・Can inhale, and essentially destroy, most terrain and convert them into throwable chunks. |
 Snake Bananza |
Unlocked at: Radiance Layer (SL 1200-1204) Abilities ・Charged jumps can reach higher platforms. ・Glare ability slows down time for everything else. |
There are a total of five Bananza Powers available in Donkey Kong Bananza. You can unlock each form from the Elder located at the Layers in the above table.

Kong Bananza grants DK incredible destructive power. It allows DK to plow through the world and smash even hard terrain.

Zebra Bananza
Zebra Bananza boosts DK's mobility and swiftness. In this form, DK can run on surfaces of water, and across crumbling pathways.

Ostrich Bananza
Ostrich Bananza lets DK take to the sky. By spreading his wings, DK can ride updrafts, glide through the air, and drop egg bombs to unsuspecting enemies below.

Elephant Bananza
Elephant Bananza lets DK inhale terrain to keep it in the trunk for later use.

How to Use Elephant Bananza Form
Snake Bananza
Snake Bananza allows DK to jump higher than usual and use a Glare move to slow down time in a surrounding area.

How to Transform into Bananza Forms
Press and Hold the Shoulder Buttons
Bananza Powers are temporary transformations. You'll need to build up your Bananergy Meter as seen on the lower left corner of your screen. This can be done by collecting Gold.
Once the meter is filled, press and hold the L and R shoulder buttons to drum your chest and transform!
Return to Original Form When Bananergy Meter Depletes
After transforming into any of the Bananza Forms, your Bananergy Meter will deplete and reverts you back to your original form once the meter runs out. Collect Gold to fill up the meter to allow you to transform again.
Switch Between Forms with Left and Right on the D-Pad
Once in a Bananza Form, you can freely swap between transformations by pressing the left and right buttons on your D-pad. Masterful use of transformations will allow for an even more fun adventure.

As you explore the depths of the world, you will meet Giant Elders residing in the underground who possess these Bananza Powers.
By learning from them, Pauline can help DK power-up into these useful transformations.
Can Be Powered Up With Skill Points
The fourth-sixth columns show Skills for Kong Bananza, Zebra Bananza, and Ostrich Bananza respectively.
When you unlock a Bananza Power, you also unlock their sections on the Skill screen that can further enhance those powers. Be sure to collect plenty of Banandium Gems to unlock DK's full potential.
