Players who have preordered Donkey Kong Bananza on the Nintendo eShop can now preload the game, allowing you to play the game immediately at 12 midnight on the day of its release!

Go to the Nintendo eShop on your Nintendo Switch or the official website (Note, this store may differ based on your region).

Search for "Donkey Kong Bananza" then click on "Proceed to Pre-order."
3 Click next to proceed and choose your payment method.

Confirm Preload
Confirm your pre-order at the bottom of the page.

Preloading Donkey Kong Bananza
Go back to the Home Screen and the game will automatically preload. Wait for it to download to play the game on its release date!

Preload File Size

Required Space is 8.7GB

Make sure your Switch 2 has enough memory space available for the game before preloading. If your memory is near full, you might need to delete other game data, or prepare a microSD card to store more.

MicroSD Card May Be Required

If your Switch does not have free space to download the digital version of Donkey Kong Bananza, consider purchasing a MicroSD card to increase its capacity.

When purchasing a MicroSD card, be sure to choose one that is compatible with the Nintendo Switch.
