After finishing the game, you also receive the Bananza Rehearsal from the five elders and the Great Harmoneel. Note that you need to collect a total of 600 Banandium Gems to unlock all the Bananza Rehearsal Halls.
Completing the Rehearsal Halls of the elders will give you additional Banandium Gems as a reward. You can use these to upgrade skills and unlock the new Golden Skills.

Two of the unlockables available in the post-game are the Gold-Mining Gear for Pauline and Mining Helmet for DK. This outfit doubles the amount of Gold that you can get, making it easier to farm for them.

The very first area, Ingot Isle Cave-In (SL10), becomes accessible upon clearing the main story. New content is also included, so be sure to visit this area.

Grumpy Kong appears at Ingot Isle Cave-In (SL10) and requests you to pay him to construct three projects in the layer.
These include Battle Rush, Boss Rush, and Baboomtown Restoration Project. The last one restores Ingot Isle in its original form and adds a giant gold statue of Donkey Kong at the top of the building.

Poppy Kong will give you the Invisibility Tie once Grumpy Kong completes all three construction projects in Ingot Isle Cave-In. This is a novelty neckwear that makes Donkey Kong invisible though enemies and allies can still see him.

Completing all Rehearsal Halls unlocks a replica of the elder's Ancient Record as a reward. It is made of an unbreakable terrain type that you can use it to destroy terrain and Turf Surf.

Completing the five Elders' Bananza Rehearsals rewards you with the Diva Dress. This is the same red hat and dress that Pauline wears in previous games such as Super Mario Odyssey.
All Easter Eggs and References

A new event will occur at the Groove Layer (SL1300) wherein the sound from the Disco Hall stops working. By completing the Repair the Disco Hall quest, you will be able to change the background music of that area.

The Groove Layer (SL1300) also houses the Fossil Museum, a room that shows all the Fossil types that you have spent to buy clothes at the Style Shops. You can find the museum on the top-right side near upon entering the first room of the layer.
Tracking down every Fossil in the Underground World grants one Banandium Gem from the museum curator.

Glamtone, a new Fractone, will start to appear in various locations in the layers to offer you an outfit challenge. Wear the outfit that matches their description to earn you a Banandium Gem as a reward.

You can challenge yourself to a time attack mode on the Racing Layer (SL1100) with Rowdy Race. Hone your driving skills and try to best your personal record!

Post-game areas and content such as the Ingot Isle Cave-In (SL10) and Bananza Rehearsals contain more Banandium Gems to collect and upgrade DK's skills further.

Collecting all 777 Banandium Gems allows you to upgrade DK's skills. In addition, you can also unlock the post-game content, Bananza Rehearsal, after collecting a specific number of Banandium Gems.

Fossils allow you to exchange them for clothing items in the Style Shops. There are a total of 696 Fossils found in the Layers and are required to collect if you want to unlock all clothing items for DK and Pauline.

There are a total of 110 Music Discs that you need to collect to increase the number of background songs that can be played in the game. You can obtain them upon defeating an enemy.

There are a total of 108 Challenge Ruins available in the game. Completing Challenge Courses give you three Banandium Gems while Battle Challenges only give one.
