The best IVs for Eirika are +Atk and -HP. Her Atk is a superboon, this means that she gets a +4 instead of a +3 if she gets a +IV in this stat. This greatly boosts her awful Atk stat. Her HP is of less importance so it is safe to take as a bane.

How to Use, Explanation

This is a build using Eirika's refined weapon, Distant Counter, and Quick Riposte to make her an enemy phase tanky unit. Null Follow-Up 3 ensures her a follow-up attack and will also nullify effects that guarantee an enemy unit's follow-up attack. Quick Riposte also ensures that she has a follow-up attack during the enemy phase.

Sieglinde's special effect refine is a bit tricky to utilize as you need allies with active buffs within 2 spaces of Eirika during combat to take advantage of it. However, it has the potential to provide Eirika with massive buffs. Be sure to include team buffs in Eirika's team if you will make use of a specially refined Sieglinde!

Eirika is a close physical attacker (range = 1). Therefore, when not accounting for the Weapon Triangle, the amount of damage she deals will be equivalent to her Atk minus the foe's Def stat.

Eirika Strengths

Atk buff for allies

At the start of a turn, Sieglinde grants +3 Atk to allies throughout their next actions. This is a convenient buff that improves allies' firepower by a pinch. As this lasts only through their next actions, they would not enjoy the buff anymore if they are refreshed by a dancer for a second attack.

Special weapon refine has amazing synergy with specific skills and characters!

Sieglinde is reliant on buffed allies for it to power-up Eirika. This makes Kaden a good pair with her as Kaden has the ability to simultaneously buff himself and Eirika with +6 Spd/Res. This means a +12 Spd/Res to Eirika under Sieglinde's effects. Throw L!Azura's buffing and refreshing capabilities into the mix, which can spread a single stat buff to all stats, and then you have got a monster unit in Eirika's Sieglinde.

Access to multiple repositioning skills

Eirika has access to Pivot which grants her huge mobility if her allies are positioned correctly. She also has Drag Back which helps her put enemies into compromising positions. This looks like just another utility skill at first glance, but it is very powerful if used correctly!

Tricky to use as a main attacker

Eirika has a lot of useful skills, but her offensive stats are not at elite levels. For her to be an elite offensive character, she needs investment and access to her specially refined Sieglinde. This weapon is very powerful especially when combined with the right allies as discussed above.

Characters that have lots of debuffs

A specially refined Sieglinde requires a lot of set-up to be effective. If Eirika does not have access to its powerful effects, her firepower is very lacking as her natural offensive stats have nothing to boast. Having team mates such as Yune and Aversa to spread debuffs all over the map is good for Eirika's viability.

Units that are durable against physical attacks

As mentioned multiple times, Eirika has low Atk without Sieglinde's buffs. She might have trouble taking out the more physically durable units especially when she is in a compromised position and if she has no allies to siphon buffs from.

High-powered blue units

Be mindful of high-powered blue attackers like Ophelia and Reinhardt as they can easily take Eirika out. If not Eirika, they can take out her allies that are responsible for making use of Sieglinde's effects. Take out these threats immediately to preserve Eirika's power.
