Trait Fruits—How to Change IVs

When using an Ascendant Floret, we recommend getting the next superboon if it fits the hero. If not, consider what stat your hero needs most.

+Atk/-HP

The best IVs for Fir are +Atk and -HP. A +Atk IV adds to her already high Atk stat. This allows Fir to defeat many foes in one turn if she is paired with a dancer. Her HP is of less importance to her, so it is the best bane she can take. If you wish, you can also opt for a bane in Res as she can afford some points off it.

How to Use, Explanation

This is a magic tank build for Fir that uses Distant Counter so she can counterattack regardless of distance. Noontime gives her sustain, while Null Follow-Up nullifies enemy units that have guaranteed follow-up attacks while also nullifying effects that prevent her own. Pulse Smoke will slow enemy Specials and Atk/Res Solo serves to further boost her Atk and Res so she can tank better and deal more damage.

We recommend Evolving Fir's Weapon into Nameless Blade

The special refine effect of Nameless Blade adds +10 damage whenever Fir activates her special. This is great as she heavily relies on Glacies to deal tons of damage. However, it does not improve her damage when Glacies is offline which is her weakness so watch out for that.

With that said, there will be many instances where Fir will fail to take down opponents in competitive modes such as Arena. Depending on your team compositions and your current rank, change Fir's weapon into something else. For example, your team is in the higher echelons of the Arena and you do not have a weapon strong against armored units, which are very common in upper Arena tiers, it would be best if you would inherit a weapon like Armorsmasher+ onto Fir.

Killing Edge+ can also be upgraded to Slaying Edge+, but Nameless Blade is superior.

Fir is a close physical attacker (range = 1). Therefore, when not accounting for the Weapon Triangle, the amount of damage she deals will be equivalent to her Atk minus the foe's Def stat.

Fir Strengths

High Spd and Res

Fir has both high Spd and Res as they sit at 39 and 31. This makes her a good match-up against magic foes as not only does she easily endure magic attacks, but it will also be hard to score follow-up attacks against her.

Glacies takes advantage of her high Res

Glacies, Fir's special has a long cooldown but it hits very hard as it adds 80% of Fir's Res to her damage. This it fitting for he since she already has high Res levels. This means that you can stack a ton of Res into Fir, building her bulk, but also be able to dish-out tons of damage!

Fir's Weapons Speeds-up Special

The weapons that Fir has native access to such as Killing Edge+ accelerates her special trigger (cooldown count -1). This makes it easier for him to utilize his special skill, Glacies.

Special Effect Refine Grants Pure Damage!

The special effect refine for Nameless Blade grants +10 pure damage when Fir's special triggers. This makes Nameless Blade very similar to Wrath 3 but with less trigger conditions. This makes a Glacies-charged blow from Fir lethal as she already hits hard even without the damage from Nameless Blade. Take note that the +10 damage cannot be reduced! This means that even foes with very high Def will take damage. Use this to your advantage.

Fir Weaknesses

Low Atk

Fir heavily relies on Glacies to deal massive damage. If Glacies is not online, she will have a hard time taking out units. Make use of allies' buffs and other skills to cover Fir's weaknesses.

Requires Investment to be Effective

Other than her special, her skills are pretty lackluster especially when compared to newer generation units. If you plan on using her in competitve modes such as Aether Raids, consider inheriting strong skills onto her. Some other ways you can improve Fir's power is through unlocking her potential, merging, and using dragonflowers.
