What Kind of Character Are They? | ・Nullifies skills that prevent a counterattack ・Can counterattack foes from any range ・Her exclusive passive skill limits the movement of foes |
Might: 14 Range: 1 Accelerates Special trigger (cooldown count-1). During combat, boosts unit’s Atk/Spd by number of allies within 2 spaces × 2. (Maximum bonus of +6 to each stat.) At start of turn, if unit is adjacent to only beast or dragon allies or if unit is not adjacent to any ally, unit transforms (otherwise, unit reverts). If unit transforms, grants Atk+2 and deals +10 damage when Special triggers. |
Cooldown Count = 2 Treats foe's Def/Res as if reduced by 30% during combat. |
Enables unit to counterattack regardless of distance to attacker. |
Neutralizes status effects and disables skills that prevent counterattacks during combat. |
After combat, if unit attacked, inflicts status on target and foes within 1 space of target restricting movement to 1 space through their next actions. |
Stat | Superboon/Superbane | IV Recommendation |
---|---|---|
HP (18) | ★★★☆☆ | |
Atk (21) | ★★★★☆ | |
Spd (11) | ★★★★★ | |
Def (8) | ★★☆☆☆ | |
Res (4) | ★★★★☆ |
◯ = Stat gains +4 with a superboon, ✕= Stat goes down by -4 with a superbane, - = No assets or flaws
See the IV Checker for All Units | Trait Fruits—How to Change IVs |
When using an Ascendant Floret, we recommend getting the next superboon if it fits the hero. If not, consider what stat your hero needs most.
The best IVs for Nailah are +Spd and -Def. A higher Spd stat allows Nailah to prevent follow-up attacks against her and helps her make follow-up attacks on her own. This boosts both her offensive and survivability capabilities. Her low Def is of less importance, so it is safe to take Def as a bane.
We recommend a +Spd IV when merging Nailah to 10. This is for the same reasons as above. With this IV at 10 merges, she reaches a Spd of 44. At that point, she will be scoring follow-up attacks on a wide range of units especially if she receives support from allies!

A budget build for Nailah that simply adds an assist skill and Distant Def 3 in the Sacred Seal. This is to give her more bulk when baiting in staff or any ranged unit in battle. She makes for a great counter to units like Brave Veronica and Brave Camilla.

Replace Null C-Disrupt 3 with the more offensive Wrath 3, then you have a fiercer damage potential! This of course takes away the ability of Nailah to bait staff users, so you can just replace Distant Def 3 with a more offensive Seal like Quickened Pulse. This will make Moonbow available on the first turn! Make good use of the Wrath-boosted Moonbow to take out a priority unit in the early phases. If you want her to focus solely in the player phase, you can replace Distant Counter.

Nailah's refined weapon grants her Canto, null Guard, null Special acceleration, 7 HP healing per hit, and buffs to all of her stats. This makes her an excellent player phase unit who can take advantage of Flashing Blade to activate Galeforce.
Exclusive Weapon Effect from Refining (Special Effect Type) | |
---|---|
SP: 400 | |
Might: 14 Range: 1 HP: 3 Accelerates Spec CD. In combat, if foe HP ≥ 75% or unit is within 3 spaces of ally, grants A/S+5, if both are met, inflicts A/D-5 on foe. At turn start, if standard beast transformation requirements are met, unit transforms (if not, unit reverts). This grants A+2, +7 dmg upon Spec, and blocks effects like "Spec CD charge +X" to foe or inflict "Spec CD charge -X" on unit. Enables【Canto (Rem. +1)】if transformed. In combat, if unit HP ≥ 25%, grants A/S/D/R +4, and if unit hits foe, heals 7 HP :500 :200 |
|
Nailah is the first beast unit to receive a weapon refine, and she received a powerful one indeed.
Wolf Queen Fang's special effect refine grants Nailah 【Canto (Rem. +1)】and if she is transformed, also grants Atk/Spd/Def/Res+4 to her and heals 7 HP after combat.
The Canto effect alone is worth the Divine Dew to refine this weapon - the additional buffs are just gravy.
We highly recommend you refine Wolf Queen Fang if you use Nailah often.

Nailah

Note: Stats bonuses from skills are not taken into account.
Nailah is a close physical attacker (range = 1). Therefore, when not accounting for the Weapon Triangle, the amount of damage she deals will be equivalent to her Atk minus the foe's Def stat.
Nailah has access to Null C-Disrupt 3 which neutralizes effects that prevent Nailah from executing counterattacks. Since Lyon is strong against long-ranged units, he is a great counter to heroes like Veronica or units using Firesweep Bow+. This also makes Nailah a great unit in Aether Raids. This is because of the presence of Veronica and other effects that prevent units from landing counterattacks.
This works well with her A skill, Distant Counter! Both combined Grants Nailah a wide range of great match-ups!
In addition to accelerating her special trigger, Wolf Queen Fang boosts her Atk/Spd by the number of allies within 2 spaces x 2. She can gain up to a maximum of +6 Atk/Spd through this skill.
If Nailah meets the requirements for transformation, Wolf Queen Fang grants her +2 Atk and +10 pure damage when her special triggers. Because of the special cooldown acceleration and the frequent follow-up attacks and counterattacks coming from Nailah, she will be able to consistently activate a +10 pure boosted Moonbow!
Nailah's signature skill, Glare, inflicts a status on the target that limits their movement to 1 space until their next action. It is a pretty niche effect, but it allows you to prevent slippery enemies from sniping your backliine units. For example, the high-mobility, high-powered Brave Lyn can usually snipe your supports, but with Glare, she stays locked-up in a designated area with Nailah. Because this skill only lasts until the next action, it wears away if the affected unit receives a refresher-assist.
Nailah makes for a decent defense unit on AI-controlled teams as it makes it hard for the player to disengage Nailah after they have committed to the danger zone.
Nailah's Res only sits at 23 at Lv.40. This makes it easy for magic users to take her out. Be mindful of Nailah's positioning in relation to magical units that can easily take her out.
Nailah takes 1.5x damage from beast-effective weapons like Brave Eliwood's Nini's Ice Lance, and one blow from this type of weapon is sure to take her down. Make sure you know what weapons you are up against before hopping too far into the line of battle!

Something is troubling you—I can tell by your face. I will lend you an ear. Go on, speak. I see. You lack the strength to take the field yourself, and you fret for the ones you send to battle in your stead. Listen, {Summoner}. Everyone has a purpose. Take heart knowing you have found yours. My companion is the same. He too lacks the strength for battle, but his beauty and kindness bring me peace. Beorc live short lives—focus on what you can do rather than what you can’t, and yours will be free of regret. |
