The best IVs for Winter Eirika are +Def and -Spd. A higher Def stat allows Winter Eirkia to tank more physical attacks. Her Spd is already low and she doesn't really need it much, so it is safe to take as a bane.

How to Use, Explanation

This build is used as the corner healer in AR-D Saveball strategies where you trap a group of 4 armors in the upper right corner. The Near and Far Save armor units should cover for enemy attacks while Eirika keeps up the healing. No weapon is used to prevent stray attacks.

Winter Eirika is a ranged magic attacker (range = 2). Therefore, when not accounting for the Weapon Triangle, the amount of damage she deals will be equivalent to her Atk minus the foe's Res stat.

Winter Eirika's Strengths

The Only Armored Staff User

Winter Eirika is an Armored Staff user; a rare weapon/movement combination. Because of this, she can fill very specific niches in the game.

Her stats are higher than other Staff users too, making it easier for her to join in the front line of battles. Winter Eirika is also the only character that you can use in Armored-only missions that can be an effective healer.

Can Buff the Unit with the Most Powerful Atk

Winter Eirika's exclusive weapon, the Joyous Lantern+ grants +5 Def/Res to the unit that has the highest Atk, excluding Winter Eirika. In addition to that, she also has access to Atk Opening 3 which also grants the unit with the highest Atk (Excludes Winter Eirika as well) a +6 bonus in Atk.

That is a total of +5 Def/Res and +6 Atk to your unit with the highest Atk.

Can Prevent Enemy Counterattacks

The B skill Dazzling Staff 3 is a powerful skill exclusive to Staf users that prevents enemies from counterattacking Winter Eirika. This adds to Winter Eirika's already good survivability. Being immune to counterattacks makes Winter Eirika a good counter to counterattack-based units like Legendary Hector and Fallen Robin.

Can Heal HP and Neutralize Status Effects with Restore+

With Restore+, Winter Eirika can heal and neutralize status conditions like Panic and Threaten in one turn.

Winter Eirika's Weaknesses

Low Speed

Winter Eirika has low Spd. At Lv. 40, her Spd only has an average of 23. This makes it hard for her to perform follow-up attacks and makes her vulnerable to them too. You can remedy her ability to execute follow-up attacks through skills like Vengeful Fighter and Bold Fighter, but that would be at the cost of Dazzling Staff. Before transferring skills to Winter Eirika, be sure to know what kind of role you want her to fulfill.
