Tharja is a ranged magic attacker (range = 2). Therefore, when not accounting for the Weapon Triangle, the amount of damage she deals will be equivalent to her Atk minus the foe's Res stat.

Tharja's Hex is a Very Powerful Tome

Tharja posssesses Tharja's Hex, one of the most powerful tomes in the game. It functions as a blade tome, but without the side-effect of having the special trigger slowed down. Additionally, it has a special refinement effect where it inflicts -4 Atk/Spd on foes within 2 spaces during combat.

High Atk and Spd

Tharja has naturally high Atk and Spd, which makes her a very deadly offensive unit. Her weapons also boosts her Atk based on the number of bonuses she currently has. Be sure to pair her up with allies that can provide her with buffs so to boost her offensive potential even more. If coupled with the right allies and skills, Tharja can even take out a wide number of blue units.

Darting Blow Buffs Spd

Darting Blow 3 grants Tharja +6 Spd whenever she initiates attacks. Coupled with Tharja's high Spd, she can execute follow-up attacks on many enemy units during the player phase.

Tharja Weaknesses

Low Durability

Tharja has low survivability stats. If Tharja is attacked, there is a high possibility that she will be taken out. Always be mindful of Tharja's positioning in relation to the enemies who pose a threat to her in the enemy phase. Her frailty is also another argument for the +Spd IV as it makes her less susceptible to follow-up attacks. If a +Spd IV is not available, you can use buffs instead.
