The best IVs for Summer Nifl are +Spd and -Res. Summer Nifl's speed is among the highest in the entire game, especially with a superboon. Boosting it further retains that edge against the competition.

Summer Nifl is a close magic attacker (range = 1). Therefore, when not accounting for the Weapon Triangle, the amount of damage he/she deals will be equivalent to his/her Atk minus the foe's Res stat.
Summer Nifl's Chilled Breath is a powerful offensive weapon that makes her player phase scary.
It grants her Atk/Spd+6, a Null Follow-Up effect, prevents foes from counterattacking if she wins a Spd check, and adaptive damage against ranged foes.
With her kit and stat spread, player phase is the way to go when using Summer Nifl.
Summer Nifl also comes with Atk/Spd Catch 4, S/R Near Trace 3, and her original version's unique skill Domain of Ice.
All of these skills help Summer Nifl deal more damage and win the Spd check for Chilled Breath. S/R Near Trace 3 and Domain of Ice also has good synergy by allowing her to position herself post-combat for Domain of Ice to affect the most allies possible.
Summer Nifl takes 1.5x damage from cavalry-effective weapons like Thani or Binding Reginleif, and one blow from this type of weapon is sure to take her down. Make sure you know what weapons you are up against before hopping too far into the line of battle!
