What Kind of Character Are They? | ・Devoted Breath removes dragon weakness, grants Def/Res+5, damage reduction, and Drive Miracle to nearby allies, and grants Rhea bonus stats, true damage, true DR, a guaranteed follow-up attack, 50% piercing, and Miracle. ・Pure Dragon Wall has built-in Phantom Res, grants Rhea damage reduction on attacks and AoEs, true damage, true DR, Null Guard, Scowl, Preempt Pulse, and +10 HP healing after combat and at start of turn. ・Duo Skill grants a Dull All effect and applies Stone terrain. |
Might: 16 Range: 1 Accelerates Special trigger (cooldown count-1). Neutralizes "effective against dragons" bonuses. If foe's Range = 2, calculates damage using the lower of foe's Def or Res. For allies within 3 spaces of unit, grants Def/Res+5 and reduces damage from foe's first attack by 7 during combat ("first attack" normally means only the first strike; for effects that grant "unit attacks twice," it means the first and second strikes). For allies within 3 spaces of unit, if foe initiates combat, ally's HP > 1, and foe would reduce ally's HP to 0 during combat, ally survives with 1 HP (once per turn; does not stack with non-Special effects that allow unit to survive with 1 HP if foe's attack would reduce unit's HP to 0; when any other such effect triggers, this effect will trigger too). If foe initiates combat or foe's HP ≥ 75% at start of combat, grants bonus to unit's Atk/Def/Res = 20% of unit's Res at start of combat + 5, unit deals +X damage (X = number of allies within 3 spaces of unit × 5; max 15; if unit triggers Savior, value is treated as 15; excluding area-of-effect Specials), reduces damage from foe's attacks by X (excluding area-of-effect Specials), unit makes a guaranteed follow-up attack, and reduces the percentage of foe's non-Special "reduce damage by X%" skills by 50% during combat (excluding area-of-effect Specials), and also, if unit's HP > 1 and foe would reduce unit's HP to 0, unit survives with 1 HP (once per combat; does not stack with non-Special effects that allow unit to survive with 1 HP if foe's attack would reduce HP to 0). |
Cooldown Count = 3 Boosts Special damage by 40% of unit's Res when Special triggers. If unit's or foe's Special is ready, or if unit's or foe's Special triggered before or during this combat, and also, if unit's Res ≥ foe's Res-4 during combat, reduces damage from foe's next attack by 40% (once per combat; excluding area-of-effect Specials). |
If foe initiates combat or foe's HP ≥ 75% at start of combat, grants Def/Res+7 to unit during combat, and also, if foe's attack can trigger foe's Special and unit's Res ≥ foe's Res +5 during combat, inflicts Special cooldown count+1 on foe before foe's first attack. (Cannot exceed the foe's maximum Special cooldown.) |
If a skill compares unit's Res to a foe's or ally's Res, treats unit's Res as if granted +5. If unit's Res > foe's Res, reduces damage from attacks during combat and from area-of-effect Specials (excluding Røkkr area-of-effect Specials) by the following percentage: if it is unit's first combat initiated by unit or first combat initiated by foe in player phase or enemy phase, percentage = difference between stats × 6 (max 60%); otherwise, percentage = difference between stats × 4 (max 40%). Inflicts Atk/Def/Res-5 on foe, deals damage = X% of unit's Res (if it is unit's first combat initiated by unit or first combat initiated by foe in player phase or enemy phase, X = 30; otherwise, X = 20; including from area-of-effect Specials; excluding Røkkr area-of-effect Specials), reduces damage from foe's attacks by X% of unit's Res (including from area-of-effect Specials; excluding Røkkr area-of-effect Specials), and neutralizes effects that inflict "Special cooldown charge -X" on unit during combat, and also, if foe's attack can trigger foe's Special and unit's Res ≥ foe's Res+5, inflicts Special cooldown count+1 on foe (cannot exceed the foe's maximum Special cooldown) and grants Special cooldown count-1 to unit before foe's first attack during combat. At start of turn and after combat, if dragon or beast ally is on player team or if unit is within 2 spaces of an ally, restores 10 HP to unit. |
Foes with Range = 1 cannot warp into spaces within 3 spaces of unit and foes with Range = 2 cannot warp into spaces within 4 spaces of unit (in either case, does not affect foes with Pass skills or warp effects from structures, like camps and fortresses in Rival Domains). If foe with Range = 1 initiates combat against an ally within 2 spaces of unit, triggers 【Savior】 on unit. If foe's Range = 1, grants Def/Res+4 to unit during combat. |
Duo Skill |
---|
Grants the following status to unit and allies within 2 spaces of unit for 1 turn: "neutralizes foe's bonuses during combat." Applies 【Divine Vein (Stone)】 to unit's space and spaces within 2 spaces of unit for 2 turns. (Duo Skills can be used once per map by tapping the Duo button. Duo Skills cannot be used by units deployed using Pair Up.) |
Duel |
---|
If unit is 5★ and level 40 and unit's stats total less than 215, treats unit's stats as 215 in modes like Arena. (Higher-scoring opponents will appear. Stat total calculation excludes any values added by merges and skills.) |

When using an Ascendant Floret, we recommend getting the next superboon if it fits the hero. If not, consider what stat your hero needs most.
The best IVs for Valentine's Rhea are +Res and -Spd. As a defensive unit, Valentine's Rhea benefits from increasing her Def and Res stats. Res is preferred due to Devoted Breath having a Res check for bonus stats and Pure Dragon Wall requiring a Res check win to trigger its damage reduction, Scowl, and Preempt Pulse effects and is also the basis for bonus true damage.
Valentine's Rhea's Spd is a clear dump stat and can be safely taken as a bane.
We recommend a +Res IV when merging Valentine's Rhea up to +10 to maximize her overall bulk through stats and damage reduction.

Emblem Marth Ring allows Rhea to trigger Dragon's Roar twice on both Rhea's natural attack and guaranteed follow-up attack, thus we use Twin N Save instead of Lower Ground to take advantage of getting the damage reduction effect of Dragon's Roar twice. Def/Res Scowl 4 is replaced due to Pure Dragon Wall already having a Scowl effect; it can be a metagame call if Preempt Pulse effects become more common.

Note: Stats bonuses from skills are not taken into account.
Valentine's Rhea is a close magic attacker (range = 1). Therefore, when not accounting for the Weapon Triangle, the amount of damage she deals will be equivalent to her Atk minus the foe's Res stat.
Valentine's Rhea comes with an exclusive weapon in Devoted Breath. This colorless dragonstone removes her dragon weakness and grants allies within 3 spaces Def/Res+5 and 7 damage reduction on foe's first attack, and grants a Miracle effect to allies within 3 spaces once per turn to protect them from defeat.
In combat, Devoted Breath grants Rhea bonus Atk/Def/Res equal to 20% of her Res, up to +15 bonus true damage and true damage reduction based on number of nearby allies (or 15 if she triggers a Savior effect), a guaranteed follow-up attack, 50% damage reduction piercing, and has a built-in Miracle effect.
This weapon provides great defensive support to allies in a wide area, especially with its Drive Miracle effect, which can be crucial in today's metagame ran by Emblem Lyn and her Ring.
Valentine's Rhea also comes with an exclusive B skill in Pure Dragon Wall. This skill has a built-in Phantom Res effect and grants Rhea 40-60% damage reduction on attacks and area-of-effect Specials depending on whether it's her first combat or not.
Pure Dragon Wall also inflicts Atk/Def/Res-5 on Rhea's foe in combat, grants Rhea bonus true damage equal to 20-30% of her Res depending on whether it's her first combat or not, a Null Guard effect, and if her foe has an offensive Special equipped, also grants Rhea a Scowl effect and a Preempt Pulse effect.
Finally, Pure Dragon Wall grants Rhea +10 HP healing at the start of her turn and after every combat, giving her great sustain to remain healthy throughout battle.
Pure Dragon Wall is loaded with defensive effects that all add up to make Rhea a very sturdy unit difficult to bring down.
Valentine's Rhea's Duo Skill grants a neutralizes foe's bonuses
status effect to Rhea and nearby allies upon use and applies 【Divine Vein (Stone)】 terrain to her occupied space and spaces two spaces away for 2 turns.
This Duo Skill can be leveraged in Summoner Duels to buy time and protect against her foes.
Valentine's Rhea takes 1.5x damage from armor-effective weapons like Randgríðr, and one blow from this type of weapon will deal significant damage. Make sure you know what weapons you are up against before hopping too far into the line of battle!

Valentine's Rhea comes with Dragon's Roar, Def/Res Scowl 4, and Lower Ground as inheritable options.
By inheriting prerequisite skills first, it is possible to acquire multiple skills with one copy of Rhea. However, Valentine's Rhea is an incredibly powerful unit. Consider keeping one copy of her for personal use before foddering her off.

I see. I finally got her but since i sparked Edelgard, it took like 600 orbs total ( including the spark). 😞 I don't buy orbs, so that was almost everything i had saved (i hadn't done any half of the multi map battle paralogues that released before i started playing, which i was saving for an "emergency"🤦🏼♂️. Now, everything is gone). I had all 3 orbs lit before i sparked, so didn't get a single 5* until i finally got Rhea. I hate when they release multiple top units on a single banner.🤬
