When using an Ascendant Floret, we recommend getting the next superboon if it fits the hero. If not, consider what stat your hero needs most.
The best IVs for Summer Caeda are +Atk and -HP. An +Atk IV will enable her to deal more damge with each attack, further amplified by her effective damage. Her HP is already low and it isn't really important for her so it is safe to take as a bane.
We recommend a +Atk IV if merging Summer Caeda to +10. This is for the same reasons as above; having a +IV in Atk maximizes the damage Caeda can dish out.

This build uses premium skills to maximize damage dealt. Emblem Eirika ring grants a brave effect to allow Caeda to punch through modern tanks.

|
Summer Caeda's base kit functions decently on a budget. While she won't be able to defeat the premiere tank units with it, she can still deal decent damage against most other units.

Note: Stats bonuses from skills are not taken into account.
Summer Caeda is a close physical attacker (range = 1). Therefore, when not accounting for the Weapon Triangle, the amount of damage she deals will be equivalent to her Atk minus the foe's Def stat.
Summer Caeda is under the category of harmonized heroes. They have access to a unique harmonized skill which is very similar to duo skills. You can activate harmonized skills by pressing the the harmonized skill button. Because this harmonized unit features both Caeda and Plumeria, they can qualify for bonus scores in all of the games where these two show up!

In addition to providing offensive buffs, this harmonized skill also refreshes an allies action even if they possess Sing or Dance! Read more about the skill below or in the skills section.
Summer Caeda's harmonized skill grants her and all allies coming from similar Fire Emblem titles as both her and her harmonized pair Plumeria such as Mystery of the Emblem and Heroes +4 Atk/Spd. There are a lot of powerful and versatile heroes from these titles, so this can be a great skill depending on the circumstances.
The skill does not have any additional trigger requirements besides the one mentioned above. It is a combat buff, meaning, it can be easily stacked with other buffs and it does not make the target units susceptible to panics and chills. Lastly, this can only be used once per map unlike other harmonized skills.
To make up for being unable to be re-used, Summer Caeda's Harmonized skill also refreshes the ally with the highest HP within 2 spaces. Take note that this only works on units coming from the same titles as Caeda and Plumeria.
The refresh effect also works on refresher-assist units such as Peony: Sweet Dream and Plumeria: Lewd Dream. This is definitely a unique mechanic that you can make use of even outside of Resonant Battles, especially in Aether Raids with the above mentioned heroes!

Dolphin-Dive Axe provides the 【Canto (2)】 effect which allows Caeda to move an additional 2 spaces after she commits to an attack, assist skill, or structure destruction. This allows for lots of strategic maneuvers such as hit and run tactics or safe ally repositioning.
Since she is granted extra movement after attacking a structure, she can easily snipe key buildings in Aether Raids as she can retreat to safety after.

Caeda's weapon skill Dolphin-Dive Axe is an amazing weapon providing multiple buffs and effects. In addition to the Canto effect mentioned above, it also grants:
The passive buffs to Caeda's Atk also get amplified by her weapon's effective damage, making Summer Caeda a great check against units she has effective damage against.
Flow Refresh 3 is a brand new B-slot skill introduced into the game by Summer Caeda. This skill neutralizes follow-up negation, allowing Caeda to rely on Spd checks to perform follow-up attacks on her foes. Together with her effective damage, this should help ensure that Caeda performs well in combat.
Flow Refresh 3 also provides a decent 10 HP heal after combat, keeping Caeda healthy for future combat engagements.
Similar to other variants of Caeda in the game, Summer Caeda has a low Atk stat compared to other heroes in the meta. This makes Summer Caeda entirely reliant on passive buffs and her effective damage to reliably defeat her foes.
Summer Caeda takes 1.5x damage from cavalry-effective weapons like Ridersbane+ and Thani, and one blow from this type of weapon is sure to take her down. Make sure you know what weapons you are up against before hopping too far into the line of battle!

Summer Caeda is the first and only hero in the game, as of July 2021, to possess Flow Refresh 3. This skill allows cavalry units to negate follow-up prevention, an effect previously only inheritable to infantry units via Null Follow-Up. Should you choose to use Summer Caeda as a source hero, we recommend prioritizing Flow Refresh 3 above her other skills.
Summer Caeda also comes with other premium skills; namely Harsh Command+, Atk/Spd Catch 4, and Panic Smoke 3. While these skills are all quite rare, they are also available on other heroes in the game.
Summer Caeda is a limited time Hero who can be pulled from a Special Heroes Summoning Event. They do not appear in regular summons.
Note: Not currently a featured hero in any Summon events.

Why summer Caeda is only 9, i guess she will be more than the summer freyja, because S. Caeda with some dancer(pref. New Year peonny) its ridiculous and counter many heroes more the mobility of hers and one dancer no one catches her, and do a good job against heavy defensers like fallen edelgard. And with the ability of double with two dancers( one is N.Y Peonny) or 3, she can wipe out 4 enemies in one turn.

I don't understand why the arena build had a near trace 3 skill, because it scores the same as flow refresh 3 in arena, & she already has canto 2. Why would u give up NFU & healing for just A/D -3? If u really wanted that, a lull skill would be better, because it would neutralize foes bonuses. Maybe arena was scored differently back when this was written? 🤷🏼♂️
