What Kind of Character Are They? | ・ Weapon skill grants buffs and grants a guaranteed follow-up attack |
Might: 14 Range: 1 If unit initiates combat or is within 2 spaces of an ally, grants Atk/Def+5 to unit during combat and unit makes a guaranteed follow-up attack. |
Range: 1 Grants Spd+4 to target ally and allies within 2 spaces of target (excluding unit) for 1 turn. |
At start of combat, if foe’s HP = 100% or if 【Penalty】 is active on foe, grants Spd/Def+5 to unit during combat. 【Penalty】 All effects that last "on foe through its next action." Includes penalties inflicted by a skill like Panic or Threaten and negative status effects (preventing counterattacks, restricting movement, or the effects of a skill like Triangle Adept or Guard). |
At start of turn, grants Def +6 to allies within 2 spaces for 1 turn. Granted only if number of that ally’s movement type on current team ≤ 2. |

See the IV Checker for All Units | Trait Fruits—How to Change IVs |
When using an Ascendant Floret, we recommend getting the next superboon if it fits the hero. If not, consider what stat your hero needs most.
As a hero obtainable only through Tempest Trials, Summer Seth will always have neutral IVs by default. The only way to access IVs for this unit is through using Trait Fruits.
The best IVs for Summer Seth are +Atk and -Res. A high base Atk stat of 40 backed by a superboon and a guaranteed follow-up attack granted by his weapon is exactly the edge Summer Seth needs to knock out his enemies.
His Res is very low and decreasing it further should not change any of his matchups. Thus, it is a safe bane to take.
We recommend +Spd when merging Summer Seth to +10. Aided by a superboon, this high investment build allows him to make follow-up attacks and potentially negate enemy follow-up attacks by simply boosting his Spd.

Using a Ruse skill allows Summer Seth's Rally Up Spd to also inflict penalties onto foes. A Feint skill also works if Ruse skills are unavailable.

Note: Stats bonuses from skills are not taken into account.
Summer Seth is a close physical attacker (range = 1). Therefore, when not accounting for the Weapon Triangle, the amount of damage he/she deals will be equivalent to his/her Atk minus the foe's Def stat.
Similar to Summer Lyon's Coral Saber+, Summer Seth's Seahorse Axe+ grants Atk/Def+5 to its wielder during combat and allows him/her to make a guaranteed follow-up attack.
This inheritable axe is perfect for slow units that cannot make a follow-up attack on their own.
Summer Seth takes 1.5x damage from cavalry-effective weapons like Thani or Binding Reginleif, and one blow from this type of weapon is sure to take him/her down. Make sure you know what weapons you are up against before hopping too far into the line of battle!
Should You Unlock Potential for this Hero? |
---|
We recommend that you use Unlock Potential to bring Seth - Silver-Sea Knight from 4 Stars to 5 Stars. Seth - Silver-Sea Knight is a very useful bulky axe cavalry, so we recommend you Unlock Potential for Seth - Silver-Sea Knight if your team lacks a strong bulky axe cavalry.

Summer Seth has Rally Up Spd, Seahorse Axe+ and Spd/Def Catch 3 as viable inheritance options.
This is the first time a Rally Up skill is present on a hero without its upgraded version. This makes Summer Seth a good bridge unit for inheriting Rally Up Spd+ from another hero.
