When using an Ascendant Floret, we recommend getting the next superboon if it fits the hero. If not, consider what stat your hero needs most.
The best IVs for Spring Karla are +Spd and -Res. Her Spd is the highest in the game as of the time of her release at base 47, boosted to 51 with a superboon. Spd is her best stat and is very useful for creating follow-up attacks through a Spd check.
Spring Karla's Def and Res are both suboptimal. We opted for a Res bane as she will be initiating combat and is more likely to receive counterattacks from physical foes.
We recommend a +Spd IV when merging Spring Bernadetta to +10 for similar reasons above.

Spring Karla's base kit already functions spectacularly as a tankbuster unit. A 3 cooldown Special like her Draconic Aura charges up immediately on the first turn, while a 5 cooldown Special like Aether requires waiting until turn 3 to pre-charge, but hits significantly harder.

Spring Karla is a close physical attacker (range = 1). Therefore, when not accounting for the Weapon Triangle, the amount of damage she deals will be equivalent to her Atk minus the foe's Def stat.
Spring Karla's Sisterly War Axe accelerates her Special trigger and grants Special cooldown count -2 at the start of each odd-numbered turn. This effect allows Spring Karla to quickly charge up her Specials and reliably trigger them in combat very often, making her a very dangerous opponent to meet on the field.
In combat, Sisterly War Axe grants Atk/Spd+6 and true damage equal to a percentage of her Spd based on her Special's maximum cooldown count whenever her Special triggers. Additionally, if Spring Karla initiates or is near an ally and she triggers her Special, she disables damage reduction effects and prevents defensive Specials such as Pavise and Godlike Reflexes from triggering.
This combat effect makes Spring Karla a premiere tankbuster unit capable of punching through enemies and ignoring all damage reduction effects, including said Specials.
Spring Karla's Harmonized skill grants Special cooldown count -2, Atk+6, and 【Resonance: Blades】 to herself and all allies from Blazing Blade and Heroes for one turn.
This effect can set up teams to wipe multiple enemies if the team is properly built with heroes from these titles.
Spring Karla takes 1.5x damage from cavalry-effective weapons like Thani or Binding Reginleif, and one blow from this type of weapon is sure to take her down. Make sure you know what weapons you are up against before hopping too far into the line of battle!
